A piece of railroad spring clip hand forged and twisted with the assistance of my new post vice!
Minimalism was the plan, forged as close as possible to minimize grinding too.
Kydex sheath with and Ulticlip keeping it secured.

Well, I can now officially say I'm a blacksmith. Having a blast and nearly finished my own pair of tongs thanks to the guidance of the local historical society. Let's make some cool shit!
First 2 are of door pull and a pair of flat jaw tongs. The rest of the pics are of the tongs put together and fitted for 3/4 by 1/4 flat stock. And 3 lengths of chain and a tong ring.
Got some work done! And finally lit the frickin forge!
Made some spikes from spring steel recently and a little bracelet for my eldest hammered from a piece of railroad spike
Hey so how the fuck does forgewelding work with a coal forge
