The nose knows...that it's my last few days in Italy. I can't help but feel my dad in the city as I walk about, interact with locals, bask in the accents and cook so many new dishes. I think he would definitely be proud of me for seeking out this time and making the most of the year so far. I have more support in my life than I ever imagined and am anticipating my return home, only always ha. . But I'd like to take a moment, a lot of moments to be thankful for my family and friends. In a time of crisis and sorrow, happiness and love, I know I can always call you and you'll pick up and be there for me and for each other. Y'all have been my neighborhood heroes, creating a special little place in your hearts and carving out time and space in your life to fit me in it. I honestly don't know what I'd do without you four Golden Girl's (I'll let you decide who's who on that one). We each share a special conneksh and I honestly don't know what I'd be without you in my life. .
