Expedition 43, carrying Russian Cosmonaut Gennady Padalka, Mikhail Kornienko and Scott Kelly, launched earlier today from the Baikanour Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. Kornienko and Kelly will be spending 342 days onboard the International Space Station.
