Russia is a road to nowhere.
Beautiful Saint Petersburg
That is an usual building in Novosibirsk. Our authorities have been doing nothing for so long time to make the buildings like this one look better. I don't even talk about the fact Novosibirsk has got faceless architecture all over the city. Only asking for restoration.
it's painful to see, how time after time, people from countries of former soviet union are asking for help and to spread the information about the injustice that's being done to us and the world just don't want to listen. as if it's not bad enough. it's just a couple of rigged elections, couple of new laws, nothing crazy. but i can see, clear as day, how people on the other side of the border becoming prisoners in their own home. how the governers, who are suppose to protect us and help our countries grow, take the last of our money and kick us to the curb. for 6 years, there's war going on in my country and for some fucking reason it's nowhere near its finish. i know it's impossible to care about everything, especially right now, when there's just bad thing on a bad thing and it doesn't seem to end, but i guess i'm just tired and hopeless as i'm sure most people are. i can't even comprehend a possibility of everything being good, it's not in the books for us. who knows what can help. but it would be fucking great for someone to finally step in and take us somewhere great, but, unfortunately, it's never that simple.
Absolutely agree, let's spread the problem so that everyone knows what happens.
Russian twilight.
Asphalt collapsed on the Krasnoyarovskoye highway - it was laid a month ago
It is about how our officials launder money by "repairing" roads.
Motorists stuck in a traffic jam near Berdsk - the traffic jam stretched for 10 kilometers
Nice job, Where are urbanists? Why is there a huge highway through my city(including the center, the main road is a highway btw)? Could you imagine this in your city?
Usual situation after rain in Novosibirsk(and all over Russia). Storm sewers? Competent street planning? No. It's Russia.
Russian unjustice
Almost 15% of residents of the Novosibirsk region were below the poverty line. The fact is that living wage in Novosibirsk is 11 475 rubles or 153 dollars. Our government believes that a person can live on 153 dollars for a whole month. Meanwhile the rector of Novosibirsk State University has earned 10 million rubles(133 333 dollars) in a year.
The russian state’s attitude to the COVID-19.
Maybe I am stupid, but I don’t really understand. Our state has taken action about the virus as the number of cases of infection exceeded 20 people per day. Now they remove the restrictions but the number of infected people is over 100 a day. Where is the logic?
The Fate of Russia
How do you think, could Russia be a better place if white army had won the civil war(1917-1922)? Tell me your opinion.
About the level of service in Russia
Maybe you don’t know, but here in Russia there is no free market. Services for providing hot and cold water, electricity, and so on are provided by the state. There can’t be any private company that can provide these services BY THE LAW. That’s monopoly. It was just an introduction. I want to share with you the situation that happened yesterday: A cold and hot water were turned off all over my residental area without any warnings for 10 hours. I don’t know what happened because there wasn’t any information published :) And we were forced to buy water just to wash hands. Attempts to sue them were made, but without success. That’s because there is no justice and rule of law in my country. I don’t even talk about the quality of, for example, water. Since it is obvious that it is really bad, very bad.
About politicans in Novosibirsk
Yakovlev Igor Nikolaevich has become the richest minister of Novosibirsk region (based on the results of the Declaration company of 2019). His income in 2019 was 34 365 668 rubles or 458 514 dollars. At the same time he only has got a car: land rover discovery. Isn’t that strange? The problem is that an average annual income in my hometown is 36 375 rubles or 485 dollars. Is this fair?
Introduction
Hello everyone, my name is George and I’m Russian. I am 18, live in Novosibirsk and the reason of me writing here is that I want to post some news of my hometown. The most people in my country are just insane, they consider all what has been happening here for last 10 years to be okay. And the worst thing about Russia is that Europe and USA don’t really understand what Putin’s Russia is. All these stereotypes about bears easily walking through our streets and vodka - all are false. The reality is the most people in my country get 6000$ a year. The reality is that we have no quality medicine that we pay taxes for. I am a student, but I am forced to work since there is no other option. The main reason why I am going to post here - a change in the opinion of the Western world about Russia. I am sorry for my English, I hope I will be able to improve it.
So, if you are interested about the real life in Russia, follow me. There will be many interesting posts about it.
