If she closed her eyes and focused her body she could feel her weight in her arms.

From the crowd of children came her daughter, joyous and pure. Swept up in her arms the girl excitedly chattered on about what they learned and how they played and drew.

If she closed her eyes and prayed with all her heart and soul nothing changed at all.

Zharada opened her eyes to the ruins of her world. Argus, once a beautiful jewel of life in the Great Dark was now cracked and broken. Where once had been a city teeming with Eredar life, now only the decaying bones of a society remained.

She stood, now gleaming and golden, among the ghosts of the past. A burning, raging beacon of Light among the terrible dark. Fury fuelled by grief. a vow etched into her very flesh to eradicate the Legion wherever it festered.

She pulled her blade free, the enchanted steel humming with power.
