You should watch him walk. He’s been walking for almost a year now and he still looks like he’s learning how to walk. It’s the cutest thing ever. And his little voice just melts my whole heart. Yeah, I definitely recommend asking their wives, or join facebook groups! Those help too, that wat you get hundreds of peoples advice instead of just a few. I found my blackout curtains at Bed Bath and Beyond, but you can find them cheap on Amazon too. They are so freaking nice and they can also help keep the house cool in the summer. This is honestly so cool, it’s the first time I’ve gotten to share my own parenting tips with, well, anyone. 

See, I tried joining a parent group, but people kept DMing me about buying essential oils and telling me that vaccines would make my kid gay and autistic, so I jumped that ship real quick. Like obviously he’s not gonna become gay from vaccines. He’s gonna become gay because I’m going to indoctrinate him! Duh! [laughs at his own dumb joke] I will keep that in mind. Thank you! Damn, really? This is the first time?

Of course. We didn’t get to do all the first time stuff with Jayden, I mean not really. He was fending for himself when we took him in. Zach is our first chance at raising a baby. I want to do all the first time baby things. 

You’re so sentimental. Jay’s bio mom is still being a royal bitch about sending us his baby photos. I tried emailing her about it a few months ago, but she’s really dragging her feet.

Yeah my wife and I were completely upside down when Michael was born. We didn’t know what we were doing. All the parenting classes helped but didn’t fully prepare you for the real thing. *he chuckled* 

I thought watching my brothers’ kids would help prepare me, but I never got the full experience since I always gave them back at the end of the night.

Yeah, it’s definitely not a walk in the park. But I think it’s worthwhile at the end of the day.
