Her eyes trail his every move. Blue irises follow Henry as if he is a target, when really, it’s likely the other way around. She gently picks up her pencil, though she doesn’t intend to do anything with it. She just holds it in a clenched fist within her hand. Checking on you. As if Henry Storm would give her the time of day. Unless he got some reward in return. “A project.” She answers brusquely, lacking any sort of emotion in her monotone voice. Emotion seeps in slightly, however, by her next words: “What are you doing here?” She knows. She knows that she knows. But she’s hoping she’s wrong. Or she’ll be a twisted test subject yet again.

Henry found a certain... joy when a victim was staring at him as if they could stop whatever he had planned for them. 'Victim', yes. Caitlin had known who he was, what he had done, and because of that she knew what he could do. Obviously she hadn't said anything to spread rumors around the school because he had done a number to her -- which made so, so happy. The little accomplishments! It's been too long since he had been this giddy! There were butterflies fluttering around his stomach when he closed his eyes to relieve the torture he put Caitlin through. "Project, hm." Attempting to suppress his chuckle at her next string of words, he shook his head and walked towards her, leaning onto the counter. A foot away from her and he leaned in and took in a deep breath. "Perfume, Caitlin, dear? I didn't quite peg you for someone into the fragrances. Is it for that special someone?" Raising his brow, he let another low chuckle as he pulls back away from her. Still, he resided a foot away from her. "Ah, Caitlin, dear. I told you, merely checking up on you. What happened in the latest Project Play has Orion stumped and baffled, which of course leaves me the same way. I'm just walking around the halls, checking in. Seeing if anyone knows anything." Turning his body towards her, he reached out and rested his hand on her shoulder. "You alright there, Caitlin? You seem a bit tense."

"Hmph."

Caitlin’s eyebrows furrow as she sits at a table in a quiet classroom. Of course she’s working later than technically necessary. After all, old habits die hard. So, Caitlin is hunched over a diagram for Physics class, drawing in small details, when she can feel eyes on her. She looks up casually, expecting a friendly face, but the one that greets her isn’t quite so. Slowly, Caitlin sets down her pencil. She must remind herself to keep calm, though she can feel her stomach churning. Her expression is a solid blank. Sometimes, her old tactics serve her well. She swallows hard, sitting up straight and focusing upon the silhouette in the doorway. Henry Storm.

A light chuckle leaves his lips as he watches the girl raise her head and slowly responds to what she was seeing. Surely it had been a long time from their last encounter - but with their last, it was highly unlikely that she had forgotten. "Caitlin, my dear, I came to check up on you." His tone is light and he shuts the door softly beside him, a wide smile encasing his lips. He looks almost normal, but looks could be deceiving. All you had to do was take a look at their eyes - the window to their soul (or so some say). Caitlin, despite her demeanor... he could see it in her eyes, the way she stiffened. It was quite the delight, actually. "What are you working on, dear?"

Hands skillfully assembled the gun and the man played with it in his hands. Out in the field, yet far from where any normal Projects would be, he pointed his gun towards the occasional passerby before groaning to himself. He needed to kill. It had been ten days since his last one and he needed to see the life drain from someone's eyes... yet, he knew that the gun wouldn't provide that. Despite how skillful he was, it was never good enough as the knife on the skin. As good as the slow reveal of the true identity of a person with every mark of torture. A gun never showed that, no. "Piece of shit," he muttered to himself as he stuck the gun on the hem of his pants near his back. Pressing lips together, he groaned and turned around, startled to see a person there. "How long have you been there?" He barked, eyes narrowing onto them. Maybe this would be his next kill.

[Weaponry is not exactly Bernard’s strongest skill set. He prefers to, and finds it easier to fight on his own hands. Guns, especially, the loud sounds they make and the smell of gunpowder are not exactly favorable. But according to Archie, shooting can be soothing. So he borrowed a gun and a earplug and wrapped his fingers around a pistol for the first time in a long time. He empties the round at the paper-made person— which he feels slightly guilty for shooting— His aim is not that bad. Most of the bullets hit the target.]

Henry’s heels clicked against the floor behind him as he searched the offices for Archer Shepherd; the man proved to be only the semi-intelligent one in the school (which surprised him very much; the school was filled with idiots) – though, the man could be quite the idiot, too. Nevermind, scratch that. The whole school was filled with idiots. Hearing muffled gunshots, Henry quirks a brow as he follows the sound with slight interest – anything to get his mind off of the woman who was rampaging around like she owned her body. She didn’t. He did. “Ah, Bernard?” A light, weak smile appeared on his lips as he made his way to the room, grabbing a pistol and ear muffs. Placing it over his ears, he stands to the right of the man and shoots at the targets, hitting exactly where Bernard had hit his targets. Turning towards the man, he gave him the same light, weak smile. “Bernard… it’s been quite a while.”

“Oh, Wade. When will you learn?”

Grayson humored himself after he pulled away from the fridge. With a light kick of his boot, he closed the fridge door before he turned around to face his stolen slice of cake. A blue note stuck to the end of the plate with the same handwriting and warning as the rest of the notes he had seen before; PROPERTY OF WADE WALKER. DO NOT EAT. But just like those notes Grayson had seen, he peeled it off and proceeded to enjoy the slice of chocolate cake. “What a loser.”

“Mister Wilder.” A sly smile enveloped the man’s face as he moved over towards the fridge, pulling out his left over lasagna from the night. It had been a… tough couple of weeks and ever since his last falling out with Lux, he hadn’t seen her since. It had caused dark circles to form under the man’s eyes and the occasional migraine to attack his brain. “I do believe that eating a man’s food, especially a man who worships his food as much as Wade Walker, would appreciate his food being stolen all the time.” Shrugging his shoulders as he placed the container in a microwave, he gave the man a friendly smile. Despite how much he wasn’t feeling for life right now, he needed something else to focus on… and this boy seemed to scream fucking help! Had he needed to be torn apart, too? “How’re you doing, Grayson?”

Examining the blood on his hands, he stares at it with a disgusted expression, well that was rather gruesome. Readjusting his jacket, he turns around when he hears footsteps. He raises an eyebrow at the figure, who’s expression is absolutely terrifying, was that a… grin? The twisted form of a smile sent shivers down Ray’s spine, but he stands tall, staring down the man. Brown eyes glance over this man with suspicion, whoever this was clearly wasn’t didn’t want to just play around, they wanted a fight. Judging by the way, the man carried himself, he must have plenty of experience in murder, fights and whatnot “…A new challenger approaches, I suppose” Raymond would smirk, however the laugh of the other is haunting and honestly without the advantage of a surprise attack, Ray doesn’t know how he would go in a fight. Tilting his head to the side, he watches carefully, noting the appearance of the other, recording it in his brain. All information is useful. “Messy, yes.” He replies, rather nonchalant. But at the next few words he pauses, cost his identity and life…, and gives the other a cold stare. “Foolish, however, I am not.”

“A new challenger? Do you perhaps think this is a…” A childish giggle leaves his lips as he takes a step forward. Lowering his tone, he looks from side to side before leaning in towards him. “… a Game?” A smile pulled on Henry’s face like the one where he first discovered the Games: It stretched so far and wide from his mouth that he was sure if he smiled a bit more, it would fall from his face and melt towards the floor, much like a Salvador Dali painting. The cold stare was enough to entice Henry and it made him rock on his toes before stepping in place. “Oh, boy boy. Would you tell me how you did that, just now? Your strength – it’s quite peculiar. Human, are you not?” It seemed that because of his increase in bloodshed and not… well enjoying his Games, he was tipping forward into the ocean. The dark abyss. Perhaps it was the Games – all the planning, all the fuss of everything being orderly… maybe that was what kept him together. Now the screws were lost and Henry knew, but he was living high, free, and it numbed the pain of Lux and his beautiful, beautiful baby. Another childish giggle leaves his lips as he shakes his head and clicks his tongue. “Tsk, tsk. You are foolish. Do you not know not to question the Game Master!” Pausing, he pointed a finger towards him and he rushes quickly up to boy. His own blue eyes piercing into the other’s. “Picking on a poor innocent soul… and so messy. If you were neater, if this was, perhaps, beautiful… then you would receive your freedom. But I think I’ll teach you a lesson – after I fix her up.” Moving towards the body, he slips on ‘pretend gloves’, but it was actually him activating the telekinetic body armor to thicken around his hand so that he left no finger prints. Propping the body up, he fixes her hair and he then takes a step back and shakes his head. “Hmmm,” he hums before raising his brows. “Ahhh! I know something that will fix that ugly face right up!” Pointing his finger at the girl, he moves his finger in the air quickly for a few moments before spinning around to the boy. “Tada!!!” At first, the body looks fine, but as Henry raises his hands in the air parts of her skin dragged and fell from her face and body to reveal only muscle. It looked as if it were an intricate design or pattern, artfully made on a body. “She looks pretty now, doesn’t she?”

Her heart stops when she hears that voice, the cruel, taunting voice, turning to look at the man, she pauses, he looked like he had been through hell and back, kicking and screaming all the way. Wide brown eyes watch Henry carefully, Elizabeth hadn’t forgotten the horrible things he had done during the project play, so she takes a few wary steps back, trying to distance herself from the man. He was a predator, and the rough appearance just added to the formidable aura radiating off him. She smiles awkwardly, shrinking under her gaze. “I’m dreadfully sorry, sir. I’ll stay and watch.” Biting her bottom lip, she wishes she had invisibility just so she could disappear and flee, but unfortunately she was stuck here. She gulps at his menacing words “I’m aware of that…” You’re one of those things.

Henry could feel the fear oozing from her pores and it felt so damn good. He cannot remember a time where he had indulged himself in his senses, in his world like he had been doing. And yet... it didn't fill the void of her and his baby that was now gone. Couldn't get a grip. "Of course you'll stay to watch," he says in a matter-of-fact tone. He doesn't cross his arms, he doesn't look over at her, but instead his attention goes towards the screen to watch what happens. At her next string of words, he laughs hollowly and turns his head towards her. "Would you like a little sample, Miss O'Neil? Of what... is worse than Project Play?" Taking a step towards her, he smiles and his eyes bug just a bit before his hand moves to touch her cheek. "Such a sweet... sweet girl. Hm?"

Ugh, must you keep talking,

[He drops the adorkable act, once the S-Gene girl and him are alone. Her foolish blabbing had been getting on his nerves. ] Fun fact, I always hated morons, are you are the biggest one I’ve ever had the misfortune of meeting. [He comments nonchalantly, before forcibly grabbing the S-Gene’s arm, and repeatedly smashing her face against the nearest surface. Adrenaline rushed through his veins, the power of the G-Virus unleashed the power hungry beast deep inside of him. Wiping away some of the spattered blood on his jacket, he smirks as the girl lays in a heap of the floor, blood trickling out of her head.] Well, there goes one.

He had been on a rampage. Earlier he had witnessed some man trying to steal a purse from some girl and as such, he went after said man. Threw him up against the wall and then proceeded to peel the skin off his body so perfectly that it was like an art form, the perfect mold. Yet... it didn't satisfy. In the past week, he had traveled all over England and killed over twenty seven people and they had already started to look for a serial killer. If it weren't for Henry's need for organization, he could have been caught this time... but the Games had better plans for him. For he was faced with a man beat a Carrier until their body was limp upon the floor. A blood-curling hideous... grin, if you will, appeared on his face as he slowly made his way towards the boy. "A formidable foe!" Laughing at the top of his lungs for a few seconds, he had already activated his body armor - a thin layer of invisible armor wrapped around his body, giving him a higher defense than most. Moving towards the girl on the floor, he shook his head and clicked his tongue. "Finger prints on the girl's arm and face, there's even if a strand of hair on her shirt, here. Yours." Laughing once again, he leaned his head to the side. "I take my previous statement back... you are messy and it will cost you your identity and life... Foolish, you are."

Who’s up for ditching this place? [Causally asking nobody in particular, Elizabeth stands up from the common room couch, managing to turn her eyes away from the sick images on the screen. She needed some fresh air and to get away from the screens for a few minutes… or hours, she had tried repeatedly to distract herself, but it was impossible to escape the screens constantly showing off the projects stuck in the virtual world. Even though she wasn’t exactly close with anyone in the project play, she still felt nauseous and terrified watching it, the worse part however, was how the other projects reacted, always talking and laughing about it, like it just was some stupid television show.]

"It has been a great standing tradition for this place for a long... long time now." Henry started with irritation, his gaze moving towards the younger girl. These days he hadn't been sleeping -- hell, with everything that happened with Lux it was hard to do much of anything. She isolated him and he hadn't seen her in... months. Bags dragged under his eyes and his hair was a ruffled mess - yet his shoulders were square and he held this... peculiar air to himself. Hate. Digust -- for himself? There was no need for masks anymore, she had taken them away from him... "You're required to watch Project Play just as others watched you lose so terribly bad during your shot at it." A light chuckle escaped his lips as his eyes rolled towards her. "There are far worse things than Project Play, I can assure you."

[Hatter shrugs with a purse of his lips.] To you anything is fragile. Actually, everything is fragile in this world. Except the things that are intangible, thoughts, terror, dreams, bits and odds and such. [He sighs dramatically— as he always does— and takes his hat off, pulls out a rabbit from there. The rabbit starts to speak instead of the boy.] Fine. You got me. I’m actually a hundred years old magical rabbit. They call me Easter Bunny and I wonder why. Where I live is not very much east. Hmm. [The boy throws the hat and the bunny away, and fades into a smoke. A figure— a man with about Adam’s age— with the same clothes as the boy reappears.] You really don’t recognize me, darling? Why, my feelings are hurt. My poor broken heart. For years I’ve been expecting our reunion. Don’t you remember our steamy, fun nights together, Stormfire? I thought my poem was enough. Or my hat. I love hats. And tea. Butterflies too!

That is precisely what’s so wondrous about the world – every life is so fragile and yet we still try to make it worth something. There’s a tier ­– human lives come near last. They’re nothing special. (Rolling his eyes as the rabbit starts talking, he crosses his arms over his chest. When was this nonsense going to end?) Easter. Resurrection of that one fraud back in time. Eostre’s a goddess and her name is spring and fertility, and celebrated around the vernal equinox. Christmas is celebrated in winter. Easter is celebrated in spring. (When he finishes rambling, he quirked a brow as a figure appears and his next spew of words fall out from his lips.) Aw, shit, it’s you. (He muttered with a roll of his eyes.) Your poor broken heart? You’re the one who left me trapped in a room filled with fucking butterflies. No wonder I hate the fucking things. (Letting out air from his lips, his gaze moved over the man as a small smile started to pull at the corners of his lips.) Steamy, fun nights together, of course, Hatter, of course. You’re mad, as always. Insane, you are.

[The girl shudders when a man in coat touches her cheek. She starts to cry, which subtly turns into a cackle. She suddenly looks up, meeting the man in the eyes with her bright red, signing slowly as her neck snaps side to side,] A, E, I, O, U. A, E, I, O, U. [She morphs into a swarm of butterflies, and flies away.]

[The Hatter, laughing cheerfully, appears from behind— or, appears to be there as a teenage boy with red hair and green eyes. His trademark hat resting on his head, his stick spinning between his fingers. He grins widely and sings,] How cheerfully he seems to grin, how neatly spreads his claws. And welcomes little fishes in, with gently smiling jaws. Ahoy there, sexy crocodile you! Grand, n’t it? I love butterflies.

(In a world filled with people who were much more superior than humans, he had seen every trick in the book. A superhero manipulating water in an attempt to freeze him, a woman who could never die as her body healed quickly, and a man who held chaotic energy within him – needless to say, he has seen it all. Therefore, his face does not falter when the girl’s cry turns into a cackle and his face gives boredom when her neck snaps side to side.) Is that all? (He asks when she bursts into butterflies. Turning his gaze towards the teenaged boy, he raised a brow and rolled his eyes.) Butterflies are just not my thing – too fragile of a creature they are. You only need your hand to take it’s life away. (Letting out an air of irritation, he waved his hand in the air.) Do not peg me for a fool, it takes years to master an ability like that. Drop the charade, boy.

A small smirk appears on Andromeda’s face, her counterpart was not with her for a moment, but that did not mean she feared the man before her, not at all. “Of course she did, why do you think I’m here? So pray tell, which are you?” She was confused about the touch to her cheek, though she didn’t react to it. “A very beautiful thing indeed, nothing quite compares to it.” Did she know it was a threat of some form? Oh yes, but she felt no fear, no need to react. This man had killed before, she could see it, every imprint his victims had left on him, it was something of an amazing sight to her, so few had so many stories.

A light smile grazed his lips for a few moments before disappearing again into the darkness. He took a step towards her and looked her over, noticing how she, too, felt at ease in it. It was quite alluring. "A devil or a demon? Oh, much worse than that. But I suspect you don't mind that very much." Normally, people would stagger from his hands, they would turn and run. That was the thrill of it - the chase - ever so extravagant and rewarding... Yet she stood still. It baffled him and piqued a curiosity he hadn't quite had in a long time. "Most find it appalling," he starts, extending his hand towards her. "It's quite a pleasure to meet someone who finds the art in death."

(Coming out from the shadows, Henry's head leans to the side as he lets out a light chuckle.) My, my. Didn't your mother tell you that the shadows are meant for the demons and devils? (Leaning towards the person, his hand reached out to cup their cheek.) Have you ever watched the light die in a person's eye? Quite a wonderful sight, really.
