Elizabeth moved to sit on his lap, hands clasping behind his head. “It’s not the actual pregnancy I’m worried about. Though I am still haunted by memories of that one birthing video from health class in high school,” she joked, trying to keep the mood light. “I just…Henry, Tony and my dad don’t even know we’re back together. How are we supposed to tell them that not only are we very much together, but we’re expecting a child?”
Henry placed his hands to her waist, slipping round to place on her back to bring her closer him. The beam on his face disappearing, now only showing a solemn expression. “It’s not something we can change now, sweetheart.” He uttered, maintaining his calm through it all. “We are happy and if they can’t see that nor accept that then it’s their choice to not be involved in their grandchild’s life. You are all I have ever wanted, and this baby is part of that. You are my family.”
