FANS EXPRESS WORRY OVER JIYOO’S CONDITION

A few days ago, a representative of Mount Records revealed that Mellow’s Jiyoo who is currently promoting as part of the duo subunit ‘Heok!’ had been escorted to the hospital after she’d fallen off the stage due to a slippery floor. It was said she had injured her knee and had to undergo some treatment. But the idol returned that same day to continue her performance wearing a knee brace. Fans originally applauded her strength but recently became worried all over again seeing the poor state she seemed to be in.

On the 23rd, Heok! performed their debut song yet again. This was said to be Jiyoo’s first day performing without the knee brace but fans spotted the weak state of her leg and expressed instant worry. She was seen wobbling, suggesting her leg may not have been strong enough to hold her weight yet. Many voiced she should’ve rested more before performing.

Later this same day, Heok! Attented another schedule which revealed that Jiyoo was wearing her leg brace again. Fans suppose this is because she too realized that her state wasn’t enough to perform without, or perhaps even to perform at all. Since this day, many fans have flooded her latest instagram and twitter posts with comments telling her to rest and take care of herself. We too, wish Jiyoo some rest!

JIYOO REPORTEDLY INJURED HER KNEE DURING REHEARSAL PERFORMANCE WITH HEOK!

On the 20th of July, it was reported that member Hae Jiyoo of the new subunit Heok! And set member of girlgroup Mellow has tumbled off the stage as result of a slippery floor. The female reportedly hurt her knee in the process and was brought to visit the hospital after. Fortunately her injuries aren’t too bad and she’s able to resume her schedules as of normal according to a representative of Mount Records who released a statement.

‘It is true that Hae Jiyoo took a scary fall. We concluded that the floor had not dried down properly after cleaning in between rehearsals which resulted into Jiyoo slipping and falling off the stage. We took her to the hospital right away for a check up and it seems she’s not too badly injured and will be able to carry on her schedules as of normal. We will be investigating on the poor stage conditions in hopes of avoiding any future accidents and injuries!’

Fortunately Jiyoo wasn’t hurt too badly but she has spotted wearing a knee brace ever since but according to fans she’s reassured them that it’s merely a precautionary measure and that she’s fine. We wish her a speedy recovery! #GetWellSoonJiyoo

HEOK! JOINS THIS WEEK’S EPISODE OF WEEKLY IDOL!

On Wednesday the 18th of July, newly debuted subunit ‘Heok!’ consisting of rookie idol ‘Astrid’ and Mellow’s Jiyoo. Appearing on Weekly idol for the first time, both of the idols were able to talk about their profiles and show off some of their special talents. They also performed their latest debut song at 2x the normal speed, impressing the MC’s with their abilities to adjust to these changes. The episode was made of funny moments including the members bickering back and forth and talking about how they got together, some of their funny experiences and talking to some of the fans that called in.

HEOK shares a unique song accompanied with a refreshingly bright and quirky music video. Sweet & Sour is a song that explains how just because a person looks sweet doesn't mean that is all there is to them, as everyone is a perfect combination of both sweet and sour. In the music video, the girls can be seen dealing with the difficulties that being both has for them as they get themselves into all kinds of hilarious situations. Both the song and music video are very different from what the girls usually do in their respected groups, but despite this they manage to pull off the weird and quirky concept amazingly well.
