can you believe it's been six and a half years since i first started this blog.
my life has changed so much since then. i've experienced hardships, heartbreaks. my art's vastly improved. i bought a car and have been through multiple jobs. i live away from my parents and have some sense of independence. i've met countless wonderful and loyal friends, some even through the cookie run games. after ovenbreak cookie run has seen multiple spinoffs with only one current, far more successful survivor among them. it feels like watching an old friend make it big time after years of being unseen but still beloved and appreciated by those close to them.
things may be so different from then now but one thing remains: herb cookie and the games he inhabits are still very close to my heart. i have numerous cookie run plushies on my bed and figures on my shelves. i've rocked out to the ovenbreak soundtrack too many times to count on my car's cd player. my phone's home screen wallpaper has been the same picture of roguefort cookie for the past two years. my art has become much more noticed and is bombarded with love by the people that see it.
what i'm saying is that cookie run never seems to leave my life, and i think i can attribute that at least partially to this blog and the sense of community that came with the earlier days of cr's humble but thriving fandom. and although many of those people have moved on to bigger and better things, those memories still stick with me to this day.
