Reading through old messages always reopens old wounds for me, and yet I still do it because it reminds me of a simpler time that I miss quite often. Don’t get me wrong, I love where my life is today but there’s always that thought of what could have happened had I chosen a different route. Where would I be today, who would I be today? I find myself missing her, maybe not as a partner but definitely as a friend. And now I can’t find her anywhere. I think she deleted all of her socials. 🫤 fml can’t even keep up with her from a distance anymore because she has completely vanished.
