What's the flavor of a whale? (I'm zootechnist not hater LOL)

It’s very hard to describe original tastes to the uninitiated. But someone who tried whale for the first time recently told me it reminded them of nori, the sushi wrapping food made of red algae.

Hi Heri, I am a big fan of your work :) Lately I have been reading up a lot on the whole whaling thing and stumbled upon a statistic about dagerously high mercury levels in Faroeese people and how the local government suggests only a very limited diet of whale meat. What are your thoughts on that?

I stick to the government recommendations. But I think the one thing to take away from this is that we should try to reduce pollution of the ocean.
