Thomas the Tank Engine is a cheeky little steam locomotive who lives in a big train station on the Island of Sodor. That is, he did live there, until The Event. Now Thomas is a weather-beaten six-legged fighting robot armed with a laser cannon, smiling as he lases his way across the wastelands.
Japanese sculptor and model-maker Y Nakajima created this awesome post-apocalyptic Thomas the Tank Engine Robot. He’s remote-controlled and his green laser really works. Its 300mW beam is capable of popping balloons or igniting a match. Check out Thomas’ laser in action in this video, but please try to stay out of his way:
