Mountains are making such crazy impact on me.

my gotdamn Roman Empire. I remember when I was smoking in the bathroom that one time, kind of like I am now, and I learned that the Appalachian mountains and the ranges in the Scottish highlands are brethren, separated after Pangea. And how old they were. To be so old and also to have this like uncontrollable tectonic separation occur to you is so crazy and human like! And those mountains aren’t even the oldest…I think the oldest are in South Africa….and do they have brethren in Argentina??? Probably. It occurred to me that this the case everywhere, every place in the world is like two hands stretching across water + time. In the comments of this Tik Tok lmfao this girl is like “I went to Scotland and I thought it looked just like Tennessee” like work, it never occurred to me that could ever be the case. And I’m like, going to Brazil would make me cry probably cause will it remind me of Cameroon? They are literally chunks of each other.

I think of how black people go to Brazil and are like “I’m moving there” I’m like yes of course, it’s something in the earth over there.
