Revival: Recolonization Gameplay Overview Trailer!

Today we're going to talk a little bit about the illustrations for Organs Please.

To balance the existential horror of recycling people with humor, our artist chose a light and comical style for his drawings.

The main inspiration for those illustrations is a famous memes.

In the Factory, as within any office, rats – or office gossips – nest and weave a web of lies about you. To illustrate this, we used Mel Gibson's smug look in Maverick. The look is so charismatic that it deserves a whole gallery of portraits! We hope you noticed them on the wall.

Very aggressive employees might fight amongst themselves for the right to work an extra shift or a nude photo of a Miss Ark contestant. We used memes and footage from The Simpsons to prepare for the fights.

Some employees take their hand-to-hand combat training seriously and practice between shifts at the Factory. One of them even has a coach, and fan of the movie Rocky – he bought himself a suit just like it. Did you find him in the crowd?

We can all use a little support now and then, which is why the Catizens want to cheer you up. And cats are the perfect purveyors of happiness, warmth, and kindness (and they're so fluffy!).

To help you out, we made some Catizen-themed memes. Keep the pictures for yourself or send them to your friends to show just how much you care for and support them.

As long as we have each other, that's all that matters!

Organs Please is a dark and satirical management sim, where you take control of a recycling factory with a twist: it recycles humans.

Earth falls in 30 days, and all humans will perish. But you can help us escape the dying planet. Prepare for an exciting job as Overseer of the salvation effort! There are a few aspects we want to make clear – after all, you are trying to save humanity and we can't have any mistakes. When selecting candidates for the Ark, you need to make sure that only the best of the best are accepted.

We do not, under any circumstances, want criminals, the chronically ill or anyone who is inept. Do not be swayed by bribes, as we will find out!However, you need to keep an eye out for potential factory workers. While not everyone is suitable for the Ark, some will be perfect for manual labour.

Just be careful not to select anyone that poses a security threat to the project.And, finally, any person you deem to be unusable can be processed into fuel. Pay the price, keep our city nice.

We added a new profession for Catizens - The Acolyte.

As the Catizens head closer to Lava Meowntain, they're going to face increased obstacles and foes. Wolves and bears might seem scary now, but they're nothing compared to what awaits your fearless adventurers! This is where the acolyte comes into play. These magically majestic meowers can heal wounds and use their powers in combat. The acolytes are an essential part of your settlement's defence, and are required when taking on a rat fortress or a wolf-matriarch's lair. They significantly increase the battle strength of your furry squad and will help them survive the harshest of battles.
