I could make them forget all of this, I do not want the young ones to be traumatised by this war between demons and the mortals.”Alexander glanced away for a moment as he tried to focus his thoughts on destroying the demons.”Well you should try to shoot them and we should hope that they will stay down.”

“you can’t just leave them there, yeah, but i think making them forget might be worse. psychological trauma doesn’t just go away, from what i’ve seen. you’ll just freak them out more because they can’t remember why they’re so freaked.” victoria shrugged, already shooting out at the horde. “working on it now, buddy.”

“I could calm them down by giving them a vision of the things which they desire the most. At least that way they will stop panicking for a while.”He closed his eyes for a moment as he began to use his powers to calm the civilians down.”Let’s hope that the heroes stop him before he arrives here. And I could definitly try to teleport them.”Within a second he was flying in the air while a green glow began to surround the civilians and suddenly all of them were gone.”So they are in metropolis.”He turned to glance at the group of demons.”This is going to be so much fun.”

“just do something, because none of them are willing to listen, even if it kills them” the assassin looked pretty impressed at the sudden use of magic, grinning over at him as the civilians first calmed, then vanished. “brilliant.” her smile widened as he spoke again. “hell yeah it is.”

“Well maybe you should hurry up because we are about to have some univited guests.”He raised his hand and pointed towards a rather large group of demons which were coming towards them.”Well we should worry about Trigon, he is way more important than all of these mortals. I can try to teleport most of them away so that they will not be near Gotham.”

“they really aren’t being the most cooperative people. panicking civilians very rarely are you know.” she replied with a groan, pulling out a shotgun and aiming at the group headed their way. “he may not even come through. can you? try that, then!”

“Can someone please make sure that these poor mortals get away from this city? I am getting tired of protecting them from everything.” Alex created a force field which would block the demons from getting to a large crowd of civilians. He knew that most of those people were innocent and just caught in the crossfire of this battle between earth’s heroes and the demons however he certainly wasn’t going to keep protecting them since there were more important matters right now. ”I am certain that sooner or later Trigon himself will show up and if all of these people will remain here they will die a horrible death.”

“i’ve been trying, but it’s not that easy!” victoria replied with an eyeroll. “if trigon shows up, we all die a horrible death, no getting around it.”

Watching the child run away, Pamela slowly walked and leaned against a tree, dropping down to conserve energy. “Watch her back,” she whispered lightly, bright green eyes watching as one of her animated golems left his position and walked the same direction Victoria left. She buried herself further against the plant, her back merging against the tree trunk, fully concentrating now on manipulating and killing every demon that attacked her park.

When word reached her, the plant hybrid had lost more than half of the land she was protecting, the demons having pushed past the gates and closer to her. A small tired scoff of amusement left her drying lips, having heard the awkward one-sided conversation. Backing up, she turned around and fled to meet the Lawton spawn halfway, while she considered it a cowardly decision, the monsters were too attracted to groups of humans and fighting, thus explaining how tired she was. “We’re giving them the park, I don’t feel anymore humans around.. we just need to protect those inside,” she half-shouted, twisting to whip out a vine when she felt her golems move back as well.

tori was surprised to see pamela heading towards her, but nodded, nerves written over her face. “crap, are you serious? okay, at least there’s no one else around. do you have a plan? or are we just hoping nothing gets past us?” she asked with a hesitant expression. she really didn’t know how how they were going to hold back such a large army.

victoria was still surprised whenever the trees began moving, but she did appreciate the help they offered in protecting others from the demons roaming the city. she pulled a small handgun from the top of her boot, searching the trees and sky for any incoming attacks.

Pamela took a stuttered breath when a couple of demons simultaneously attacked the north gate, causing her to send more of the Green towards them. Though she was staying still and conversing, a huge part of her was focusing on being a conduit between the mystical powers of the Green and every being she had animated. A decade ago, she would have been able to fight while her children attacked, barely feeling the transfer of energy but now, she could feel her energy slowly depleting at every major attack.

Nodding along with her plan, a good plan though she was a bit hesitant on the idea of protecting two places at the same time. “Still, try to get as much of them inside as possible, I can only protect one place at a time and splitting up isn’t the best option for us,” especially when she planned on watching her back, “but go! now!.. come back as soon as possible.”

victoria nodded, noticing the woman’s hitched breath, but shrugging it off. “i agree. i’ll do what i can, but we need a back up just in case!” she replied, before nodding. “i’m on it. i’ll be back as soon as possible!” the assassin called before running towards the other entrance to begin herding civilians into the greenhouse.

dark eyes flashed in relief as the last innocent person entered the greenhouse, and she shut the door quickly before approaching one of the trees pamela had enlisted, not really sure what to do with this situation. “tell her everyone’s inside and i’m on my way back... if you can? i guess?” she felt awkward talking to a tree, and quickly turned away and ran back towards pamela.

There was an amused glint in Pamela’s eyes as she listened to the brunette explain herself, truthfully she didn’t care what others thought about her powers and whether or not it scared or freaked people out, but it was amusing to have someone worry about her reaction. “Stop,” she started, tilting her head enough to look at the Lawton spawn, “I understand.” Closing her eyes, she concentrated on the trees inside the Greenhouse, quickly relaying the question before wincing as she took in a huge number of responses and shouting. “20 to 25, I believe. I’d specify but a number of my children are too young to learn how to count more.”

“I have them alerted that they’d tell me whether or not some of those demons get in,” a small precaution so that she could focus on maintaining a steady flow of the Green on the fighting trees and Golems around them. “Focus on getting those civilians in the Greenhouse, once they’re there, alert one of the trees and we could focus on protecting the place from those monsters.”

victoria nodded, flushing slightly at the other’s command. she was good at reading people when she knew them, or knew something about them, but poison ivy was completely new to her, and she was still trying to figure out what was expected. “sorry, my bad.” she bit her lip at the number, much higher than her original expectation, and adding in the number of people panicking in the area, the greenhouse would be completely packed very soon.

“okay, that’s a good thing at least. so there’ll be some kind of advance warning before they start killing.” not as much warning as she’d like, but there wasn’t much they could do, and any precautions that could be taken were a benefit. “okay. i’ll get as many as i can inside. if there’s any left, i’ll let the trees know it’s full, take the rest somewhere else, and then come back to help.”

Pamela kept quiet, knowing that while what she said was true, she has spent all her life near plants and was far too used to them talking back or moving to say anything else. Taking a deep breathe, a bit roughened up at having to use the full potential of her powers, something she hasn’t done in a decade or so, Green eyes glanced around before replying, “South side.. probably.” It was an open space and those demons can go in and out anytime they wanted, but there were older civilians screaming and panicking in the south entrance. While she had tried to get them to go to the Greenhouse, getting a few teens, elders, and women to follow, the rest were too scared of her, especially the men. Not that she wanted them to go to her precious building.

“it’s cool though, don’t get me wrong. dad thinks you’re a total badass.” she added on quickly, after realizing what she’d said could imply. victoria hadn’t meant to make it sound like the woman was some kind of freak. “got it. i’ll keep an eye out over there too.” at a glance, she noticed the civilians panicking in that direction and sighed. she’d have to watch out for them. “and how many people are in the greenhouse? just a rough number.” it wasn’t strictly necessary to know, but she wanted to make sure he had all the details of the scene just in case.

Good. Pamela bit back a relieved sigh, having been unsure whether the child would listen to her or not. If she hadn’t then she would have been forced to split her concentration into protecting the woman and the Greenhouse, something that would surely end up in disaster. Gathering the Green around her, fingers danced as she slowly animated a number of the park’s strongest trees into Golems, giving them life enough to fight.

Looking back, she scoffed in amusement at the woman’s stare, “dear, I suggest you fight rather than stare. Just… don’t use fire or explosions anywhere near here, don’t attack or threaten any moving plant, and protect the Greenhouse.”

she leapt back slightly as the trees became animated, before recovering and turning back to the redhead. “right, sorry. just a little weird to see when you’re not used to it. no fire, no explosions, no plants, watch the greenhouse. got it.” she was kind of relieved pamela was allowing her to stay, as seeing the little kids exposed as they had been had made her incredibly nervous, and victoria was pretty happy she was permitted to keep an eye on them.

“anything else i should know about?” she asked quickly as she adjusted the monocle inherited from her father that rested over her left eye. “where are the most likely entry points here?”

Finally tilting her head enough to glance at the woman who dropped down her park, her eyebrow raised as a small amused smirk showed on her green lips, “of course, and somehow the Lawton child temporarily received the ability to fly.” Though she didn’t see what happened, too busy controlling the plants at the edge of the park, her children nearby were gossiping about it, loud enough that she couldn’t hear anything but them. “Hush,” she quickly ordered her kids, before eyeing the demons flying above and slowly surrounding Robinson park, “if you plan on fighting, I suggest you stay where someone can watch your back.”

It was an obvious hint that she wanted the woman to stay nearby. While she didn’t talk much to Floyd or that other man, she knew that Harley had a soft spot for the two of them and thus it was her duty to protect any spawn they had.

tori let out a dry laugh. “nope, just got picked up by something that does have that ability. and subsequently dropped by that same something.” her fathers spoke highly of the redhead’s wife, but they didn’t know pamela herself very well, so neither did she. but she knew enough to have a healthy respect for the woman. the girl raised an eyebrow at pamela’s command, before realizing it wasn’t directed at her, but the plants that surrounded her. “alright, yeah, sure. i’ll stick around then.”

victoria recognized the hint, smiling slightly, brown eyes still scanning the park for any nearby enemies as she did. but it was hard, she realized, when part of her just wanted to stare at the seemingly sentient plant life.

“Go to the greenhouse..” Pamela ordered to the group of orphans that she allowed to stay and live inside Robinson Park. When she saw them hesitate, a snap of her fingers ordered branches to slowly push them towards that direction until they finally gave in and ran inside. At the sight of several winged demons trying to enter the place she swore to protect, the plant hybrid took a deep breathe and allowed herself to sink in to the Green. Green eyes brightened to an unnatural shade before narrowing, the blood in her veins turned venomous enough to radiate, and her skin turned to its natural shade of green.

“Here to steal my fun?” she asked, barely glancing as she heard her children talk about a newcomer, “I’ll have it under control soon.”

victoria had been working her way through the hordes spilling into gothams streets without a problem, until she encountered a group larger than she could handle. one of them had lifted her into the air and flown her above the city for a few moments, before she managed to wrestle herself loose. dark eyes flashed in anger as she dropped to the ground in a park, barely avoiding hurting herself. tori stared at the children being pushed by a tree into the greenhouse.

she whirled around at the voice behind her, recognizing the woman as poison ivy after only a few moments. “not a chance. just passing through.”

full name is victoria clarissa flag-lawton

bio daughter of floyd lawton with a surrogate, her other dad is rick flag bc i’m complete and utter trash

she lived with her dads just outside of gotham for most of her life, because floyd didn’t want to deal with batman

she’s been trained since she was a kid and can shoot near as well as her dad

but but buuut she considers herself a hero because while she is an assassin, she only goes after bad guys, like, say, a serial killer who got off on a technicality or something.

she’s come to gotham looking for her lost little sister, persephone (aka nicoletta park-west), who went missing years ago and they finally got an i.d. on.

Bruce snapped out of his daze, his mind having wandered to the point where he had completely forgotten he was in public. Shaking his head, he chuckled a bit at himself. “Sorry. I didn’t mean to stare. I was zoned out” He said truthfully, although he laughed a bit before adding. “And yes, I know that sounds like a totally made up excuse, but I swear it’s not”
