“I have a key, mister. How the hell did you manage to get in here?”
She put her hands on her hips in defiance as he scanned her. This man was asking a lot of questions for someone who had, for all she knew, stolen the TARDIS.
“No, no, no. That’s not how this is gonna work. I’m asking you questions, not the other way around. Clearly, I’m meant to be here - I was given a key after all. I was expecting the Doctor. Who are you?”
"You have a key!?" He waved his screwdriver around wildly, his frustration mounting, "Yeah!? And I've got a sonic!!!" He huffed and pressed a button on the center console. The front door opened and closed with ease. "Well the locks are working..." Turning his attention back at the spit fire of a woman, he spoke, "Listen here. I AM the Doctor! And you, are either someone vile here to sabotage me, or... You've been traveling with my future self, because I'm certain I'd remember an argument with the likes of you."

The bell above the shop door rang lightly as the stranger entered the book store. The British summer air wafted in through the opened door, and John Smith inhaled deeply. How he loved his little town of Shere. Shaking off the romance of the weather, the shop owner shelved the book he was holding and sauntered up to the front desk. "Hullo. May I help you find anything?" He asked the stranger with a smile.

The Doctor chewed thoughtfully on the handful of chips he’d just second before shoved into his mouth. A tight lipped chuckle escaped him, and his nose twitched as he tried his best to keep his mouth closed. It was polite after all.
After a moment he was able to speak, “Oi, you always tie your shoes like that?” He rolled on his heels and bounced a second on his toes, “I mean, my trainers have seen a good shoe tie in their day; you’ll have to teach me this ‘Rabbit Ears’ bit you’ve got going on.”
Allie looked up from her place on the floor of the TARDIS. Every day with the Spaceman got weirder and weirder. “Oi, your voice always sound that funny?” She rolled her eyes as she finished tying her shoe and stood up. “How else would I tie them, Spaceman?”
She sauntered over to the console, looking at the screens. She was able to recognize some of the characters, but not much. “Are you going to tell me where we’re going now?”
Goodness how like her mother she is. The Doctor’s hearts warmed a bit as she snarled back at him, the moniker all too familiar to him. Perhaps it was wrong to have her fly with him. After all, Donna couldn’t remember. It wasn’t allowed. If she did, it’d be the end of her, and time knew all too well how The Doctor couldn’t let that happen. Not on his watch. So how the dickens did I end up with Alice Nobel on my TARDIS… He laughed after swallowing the fried potatoes, and rested the greasy bag upon the center console. “Well I thought there was some story about rabbits, running amuck around trees or what not…” He paused slightly, his brows raised awaiting her rebuke. Nothing - rather, nothing about laces. “Where am I taking you? No no, more so, where would you like to go!? How bout it then??? The Eiffel Tower on it’s final day of build? Or what about the birth of Pluto? OH! And I know of this place that serves the BEST pizza! No, it’s not Italy either, promise.” He drummed on the metal a moment, curious as to where she’d request.

“I’m not the Doctor!? Pardon!?” His brow furrowed tightly in his confusion, jaw askew slightly. “How did I!? Didn’t you… I mean, a word… I just said… Did… Did you hear anything???”
She acted like she owned the place. Like she knew…
“Oi. What year is it?” She wasn’t afraid of the room. She didn’t gawk at it’s brilliance, but seemed almost as though it was a room that should be familiar, but wasn’t. And she knew of *a* Doctor. The last thing he needed was to run into… well… himself.
He sure liked to ramble, didn’t he? Strangely, he seemed more confused about the situation than she did, which made very little sense. Finally, he stopped himself, and got straight to the questions.
“2017.”
That question cemented her hypothesis that maybe he was an alien himself, even if he wasn’t the Doctor. It wouldn’t be the first time she’d run into an alien without the Doctor around.
“Listen, how’d you get in this box? You shouldn’t be able to do that.”
“Aye, neither should you thanks. It’s my box after all.” He huffed and pulled out his sonic screwdriver, letting it’s light whiz over the girl’s frame.
“Not a robot. Well that’s lovely.” The Tenth Doctor was perplexed. “2017? Earth I reckon? Interesting. Doesn’t do me much good does it?” His voice quieted, as he walked over to the center console and began pressing buttons, lights slowly rebooting after his beloved ship powered off but a minute prior to the stranger rushing in.
“The question is… Have I been here before, and if so, who stole my box…” He glanced at the girl again; she seemed the stubborn sort. The kind not to be toyed with. Strong. Passionate. Someone so very similar to other’s he’d known and traveled with in times past.
Oh heavens no. It couldn’t be. “You say I’m not the Doctor.” /Though I quite am/ he muttered to himself. “However, you’ve met me, er, met the Doctor then. You were uh, expecting him here yes?” Had she met his former self? Or lord forbid, his future self?

“And we’ll twist this… And then tap this… and… VOILA!” The TARDIS wheezed to life, and for a moment the tenth incarnation of the Doctor smiled. Until she sputtered and the whole center room went black. A frustrated kick to the console caused the Doctor to curse under his breath. He sighed and gave her a loving pat. “It’s alright girl. We’ll get you fixed up one of these days.” *We* was a loose term. He’d been companion less for a good spell now and the loneliness was starting to wear on him. It mattered not however, he was the Doctor and he had all he needed: The TARDIS and the stars. Tucking his sonic screwdriver inside his breast pocket, he started for the door. “I’ll be back. Maybe this world will have a part to get you off the ground.” He hadn’t hardly made it to the door when it flew open and a brunette in a plaid skirt rushed in. Babbling. “OI!” She continued, and his brain was so rattled he didn’t hear a word she said. Finally he came to his senses and stepped before her. “Ello!? Who are you!? And how’d you get into the TARDIS???” He paused a moment and addressed the next pestering question, “Anddddddd why aren’t you uh… You know,” He waved his hands about, “all ‘it’s bigger on the inside’ or flummoxed or…” The Doctor stuttered, still miffed that she entered his ship, “…flabbergasted?”

The Doctor smirked, sliding in the chair next to the now grown woman. “Happy Birthday Charlie Jenkins!” Tugging on a string, he pulled down a bright yellow helium balloon from the air, “As promised - your balloon.”
The Hero from the hospital…But I haven’t seen him since before mum died.
Charlie fumbled her joint, nearly singeing her palm with the burning end as she juggled it. “You can’t be real” she spoke softly to him, as if he were a ghost only she could see. Her eyes wide with shock as she reached for the balloon, eyeing it suspiciously .”Why haven’t you got wrinkles?” she asked, bluntly honest as usual. The redhead took a pull from her birthday spliff and raised her brows expectantly.
"Eh well..." His nose scrunched a bit as he pushed his glasses closer to his brow, "Great face cream." The man flashed a winning smile, before his demeanor changed a bit. He drummed on the table and then quickly jumped up, "Right then Jenkins! Exactly how should we celebrate your birthday!? I do so love birthdays."

Trespassing
Breaking and entering
Theft
Illegal tempering
Bank robbery (mostly from automated cash machines, very regularly)
Impersonation (law, officials, you name it)
Forgery and use of forgery (psychic paper, basically)
Kidnapping (more or less with his companions, and full one for the First Doctor with Barbara and Ian)
Driving without a license (and not just the TARDIS)
Illegal parking
Transport fare evasion (stowaway)
Fraud
And probably so many more. Not to mention genocide, and probably murder in more ways than one… If I didn’t know him, I’d think he’s the villain, with this list XD

Charlotte Thompson has just stepped through the doors of the school, trying to keep her head up high as she walked down the corridor. Passing through the other students as they give her odd stares. It was like this at her other school. It was because she was the weird one out of the other children. She ignored them and just kept going towards her classroom.
However, before she could make it to the classroom, she heard a strange exploding sound outside of the school. Out of fear, she ran into one of the classrooms to hide. Not knowing that there was a teacher in there already.
"Thank you Mr. Smith." The A+ student lingered a moment.
"You're welcome Britney. A grade well earned." The professor smiled over his glasses, more focused on the paper in his hands.
The girl leaned against his desk, her books held tight to her chest, "Um if you need a TA next term, I've got an open slot in my schedule. Would look good on my transcripts for uni..."
Mr. Smith held back a chuckle. Two years of teaching at St. Mary's and he'd heard this request a least half a dozen times a term. "Sorry Miss Haven, I don't allow TAs. Better you add another course. Run along then, you'll miss next period." Alone to his papers John Smith chewed on the edge of his pencil, pouring over the mountain of grading when the whole of the school was rocked by some explosion. Quickly he rushed to the window to see if he could notice anything, before heading out into the hall. However before he could make it to the door it flew open and a frazzled student rushed in. She looked terrified and he was quick to her side, a hand on her shoulder. "Miss Thompson is it? Are you alright? Did you see anything???"
am i the only one who gets upset when a newer companion says a catchphrase that was oftenly said by a previous companion?? like it kind of just bothers me?
