Do you ever think about how after the battle ended Vi had to not only deal with the grief of her sister dying but also the terror of finding Caitlyn in the condition she was in. The intense angst of losing someone and then watch helplessly as the woman she loves bleeding out with an eye missing.
People saying that the caitvi sex scene was forced and unnecessary, would you have preferred if the writers just put up a black screen with impact font text saying "THE ROMANTIC SUBPLOT IS NOW CONCLUDED"?
Would that have been a satisfactory ending for that arc?
Rn im seeing very polarising reactions to the ending
Personally, i enjoyed it but i can admit its flawed and a bit bloated. Alot unsaid but id still say overall solid.
Finished act 3 and ive had time to collect my thoughts (and i have alot of them) but one thing on the caitvi side of things.
Disliking sex in media is, in fact, not a valid criticism against its use.
You dont like it? Fine, but you cant just make blanket statments without considering the actual merit of it.
EMO VI + ABS
Its hilarious watching ep6 s2 because Ambessa is just going on this whole speil about how she and Caitlyn are kin and basically the same and Caitlyn's just standing there like
Hilarious to me how he just stumbled out of there
That scene with Maddie made me homophobic
Season 2 Act 2 Spoliers
I think talking to singed was the thing that turned caitlyn around. Having someone who you recognise has done terrible things basically mirror your motivation and justification for doing equally terrible things has to had made her think.
I dont think vi made her change, just gave her the opportunity. She had already become dissolutioned to Ambessa's bullshit and wanted an out.
Your mother will have justice, I swear it.
