I never said I didn’t. I just think yours is better.
I don't know about that..
I am most definitely not blind.
If you don't think that you've got a killer bod, then you definitely are.
Late night ice cream cravings are the worst.
Ice cream cravings aren’t that bad.
They're painful!
I don’t believe you. Yours is way better. Lucky you, I like special girls.
You must be blind. Oh, yeah? Well, I'm glad I'm special, then.
Me too, girl. Me. Too.
Didn’t everyone do that when they were little? Y-yeah, I mean..You’re welcome.
Hooray, I'm not the only one! You're too kind, Dyl.
All kinds of cravings at night are the worst.
I know, right?! It's like a form of torture.
Mermaids are awesome. I have to agree with you there. Well I-I think your hair is prettier than mermaid hair.
Right? I used to swim around the ocean pretending to be one when I was little. You do? T-thanks, Dyl.
Well you could still sit on those rocks whenever. They are public property. Hey, who says your hair isn’t pretty?
Yeah, but not as a mermaid. They're so cool. Like Ariel. Well, it's not as pretty as mermaid hair!
Well that’s your opinion, I on the other hand, don’t have a smokin’ body like yourself. I guess that makes you special.
You don't have a smoking body like me?! Yours is much, much better. I promise you that. Special, huh? I like that.
But then you would live under the sea and not on the beach…
But I could sit on those rocks whenever I wanted and that would be on the beach. And I'd have pretty hair.
Eh, I don’t care. I need to lay off anyways. Oh! Thanks, haha. Sorry, i’m not the brightest guy around here.
You can never have too much ice cream, my friend. Haha, there's no issue with that. I don't think a lot of people really say 'conundrum' anymore, anyways. Just me.
Oh. Well I have some ice cream if you want some. And I don’t know what that word means…
I wouldn't want to take your ice cream from you! Conundrum! Like, in a pickle? A sticky situation? A problem, basically.
Why’s that?
Because, the good ice cream stores are never open late enough to conquer said craving. It's a real conundrum.
Midnight Stroll// Lilyan
Dylan chuckled. “I doubt I’ll be any good.” he said in a thick. “But I’ll be sure to take you up on that.” he said, with a smile. He didn’t really feel the need to learn how to surf, but he was in California so he might as well give it a shot. Plus he wanted to find any excuse to be around Lily again. Even if it was something he didn’t want to do, chances are he would have fun anyway because he was with Lily. That’s usually what ends up happening anyway.
The corner of Dylan’s lips curled up as he watched Lily jump for joy. “That would be amazing.” he said to her. Dylan had always loved playing the guitar and singing, but he never really did much with it. Now that he was in California, maybe he would start playing at open mic nights and getting a bit more serious about his music. “I would love to show you.” he said as he heart jumped at the thought of singing and playing for Lily. Dylan sat right next to her, their bodies almost touching. The blonde started moving his arm to wrap it around her waist and pull her closer, but he stopped and pulled his arm back. Dylan wasn’t one to make the first move. Even though he was comfortable around Lily he didn’t want to do anything that would upset her or make things awkward. Dylan wasn’t good with awkward. Dylan frowned. “That’s terrible, Lily.” he paused. “But like you said, your siblings are safe now and now your mum can’t hurt you.” he said trying to find the positive in things. He gave her a small, comforting smile. He turned to look at the horizon when she did. The sun was nearly half way under the sea by now. “Wow.” Dylan mumbled to himself as he looked at the amazing sight.
"Hey, have some faith! I'm an excellent teacher." she said with a wink, nudging him lightly with her shoulder. "Good." she said with a sense of finality. It was happening, even though Lily knew it wasn't his first choice of activities to do. It would still be fun. At least, she thought it would be. As long as the two were together, it was bound to be a good time.
The blonde nodded her head, tucking a piece of hair behind her ear as she did so, a smile adorning her lips. "Good, because I would love to see it! You know, this is one of the best places for the music industry and stuff. There's people busking on like, every corner. You could definitely get into something like that if you wanted. I know you're good enough." Lily's smile never left her face as they sat, perched on the rocks, their legs just brushing together as the soft, cool breeze blew against them, their hair moving slightly in the wind. Out of the corner of her eye she thought she saw Dylan reach his arm out to wrap it around her, but next thing she knew it had been retracted. She shook her head slightly to clear her mind, figuring she must have imagined it. Maybe because she had wanted it to happen? Lily didn't really know, so she just dismissed the thought altogether. "Yeah.." she said, twiddling her thumbs. "They'll be okay and I'll be okay and it'll all work out." Her voice was small, almost as if she didn't really believe in what she had just said. She tore her gaze away from the horizon as she heard Dylan's reaction to the sunset, giggling softly. "Wow is right. I've never seen something so beautiful." she said, bringing her blue eyes back to the sunset, breathing in deeply.
I love the beach. It’s official.
Me too. I wish I was a mermaid or something so I could always be at the beach.
11:30 McDonalds breakfast craving is a lot worse.
I agree. That's just torturous.
