I completely understand. However, don't beat yourself too much over it. Yes, you might think there are things that could have been different, I've been there, too. But, that's completely normal with most writers.I don't think you've gotten anything lower then a B in my class, so I would stress over it that much.

Alright. I wouldn't be too worried about your writing skills though, Ms.Pratt. Sometimes it just takes you a while getting comfortable in your own skin. Metaphorically, of course.

I did write a haiku. I just decided that refrigerator was too good of a word to be left alone. I mean, it didn’t ask to be five syllables long. Why should we be leaving the poor refrigerator without another word? I added an adjective to It so the haiku would look complete.

I really did try to write the haiku with the rules you taught us, but “refrigerator” has five syllables even though it’s only a single word, so I decided to ignore it and count it as a single syllable.
