Roundup 2~!

Alright so I went on a date last Saturday... (/////) ahm. 

Anyway so that was really nice! We met at the Starbucks by the station and talked for a bit over drinks and then went to the castle and the gardens and stuff but y’all saw the pics so I’ll leave that aside.

Ah yes! He asked me what “dabbing” means! He was like “is it like, ‘success’?” and i was like: well uhm... I actually don’t know... how to explain it? ? ? ??? also I did finger guns and he had no idea what that was about. It was so super duper precious! 

He was so cute and sleepy! He hadn’t slept much the night before and I think that might mean that he was just as nervous as I was? He kept telling me over and over what our stops were named just in case he fell asleep. I kept him awake, though, by talking to him. On the train he started singing A Thousand Miles (yeah the Vaness Carlton one) and we had an impromptu duet probably to the displeasure of our fellow passengers. ^^”

At a bus stop, he was kinda falling asleep standing up so I did what any sane person would do 3 hours after meeting someone: I pet his hair and kinda scritch scritch and played with his hair and he was like nooo you’re making it worrrrse i’m like: ya that’s my job bby. 

AH but I did almost call him bby for real when he stumbled over uneven stones on a path at the garden I was like “b-- b-be careful!!!” ^^” nailed it.

And uhhh.... ^^” idk we hugged at the station just as his subway was coming in (so cliche) but like it was super awkward and i was like “uh... c-can I.. hug you?”  and he was like “yeah” and I did and it was really awkward and stuff like not a super snuggly hug but he did hug me back just a little which was like really nice somehow? 

I think I’d like to see him again... but... I dunno.. we might hang out tomorrow because I have that day off so... I’m staying open to the option I guess ^^””

Roundup 1~!

Alright, strap in!

I had a pretty busy week, but it wasn’t bad. I’ve been struggling to come up with new games for my classes now that I’m seeing these kids more and more often!! ^^”  I keep getting on incorrect trains which is a bit of a downer. some schools are like, 5 minutes or so from the station, which is fine, but others are a longer walk and that’s when being early early really matters.

I think I finally figured out the trash system here so I don’t have to worry about that... kinda. I do have to worry about where to put the trash bags and when, but aside from that I’m doing well!

I need to start going downstairs to hang out with my housemates again, but after being out and entertaining/teaching all day I mostly just wanna sit in my room and eat convenience store spaghetti. ^^”

I posted a picture before but one of my JTs gave me a couple of Halloween cookies, and another found my pen, knew it was mine, and put it in the teachers’ area in the back of the classroom. She’s so cool I love all of them so far! I’m trying to form good bonds with my teachers, honestly. That’s really important to me.

If I think of more later, I’ll post it~!

just a few things! I still hate this gap. I hate that I look at it every time I get on a subway/train and hold my phone a little tighter I just like scenery pics My-- ffff okay so I had a boy in class who liked Precure but wouldn’t admit to it and it was pretty adorable, so I promised him I’d watch it and one of my JTs left me this note on a pen I’d left at the school. a collection of food from the past few days! One of my Japanese teachers gave me some cookies this is how tea comes in Starbucks the pizza place at the mall has mini pizza cutters???? MOOMIN STAND Haunted Tea? ? ?? ??? Gladiatorial Pizzaaaa cinnamon apple rolls! (sooo tasty) a literal chocolate and whipped cream sandwich I got from the convenience store
