LEAN ON ME

You looked down at your journal as tick marks appeared on your forehead, gripping your fountain pen as it shook slightly in your hand.

It was now going on 2 in the morning you and were busy trying to write down ideas for your novel only to get nowhere, you had a serious case of writers block.

You sighed in defeat as you put your pen down and gently closed your journal, you were afraid that if this writers block had continued anymore than it already has you would eventually lose the motivation to continue it.

Shaking the thoughts out of your head you walked out of the girls quarters and onto the sunny’s deck where you saw Luffy on the head of the sunny.

You began to walk until you were a few feet away from Luffy as a questionable look graced itself on your features.

“Hey Luffy, it’s pretty late what you you doing—“

Luffy moved his hands up to his wiping his cheek before he turned around and met your E/C eyes and putting on a wide smile that seemed to falter a bit.

You furrowed your eye brows and tilted your head down a bit before making your way up to the sunny head and sitting Crisscross along with him.

You stared up at the starry sky as you felt a light breeze hit your skin, you sighed a shifting your gave to the gentle waves of the sea.

“Luffy, you know—you know you don’t have to pretend to be okay all the time right”

“You don’t have to always pretend to be okay, you can’t always be strong.” The words you spoke came out a little harsh but he needed to hear them you thought.

From the corner of your eyes you saw tears make their way down his face as he finally started to break down. He brought his hands up to his face as he tried to make out words to explain only for them to come out choppy and not understandable.

You put your hands on his shoulders forcing him to look at you giving him a sad smile.

“You don’t have to tell me right how, you can always tell me later” you cupped his cheeks wiping a few tears away before you pulled him into your chest.

“Your always so strong, strong for our sake, just when we’re about to give up you come along and knock our problems down for us. You always let us know that we can lean on you,”

You rubbed your fingers through his hair to which he calmed down a bit at.

“But Luffy, you are not alone, you don’t have to face your problems alone. So lean on me, please.”

“Lean on me when you not strong and I promise I’ll be there, and if you ever falter, I will always help you get back up.”

Your words came out soft and shaky as you tried your best to comfort your captain. He looked up at you with dry tear streaks on his face before he brought out his pinky, “promise?” He asked

“Promise.” You assured as you wrapped your finger around his. You both shared a light chuckle before laying down on the sunny head looked looking up at the stars.

After a while light snored met your ears causing you to smile,

getting up to go back into the girls quarters you started to make your way off of the sunnys head before you heard a faint call of your name.

You looked over to seeing Luffy going in and out of sleep “please don’t go, not yet”

Your expression softened before you made your way back upon the sunny laying down under the stars next to your captain.

The way she rested her head upon her hand as she stared down at her book intently reading it.

The way she nodded up and down with a small smile graced upon her lips as she listened to her favorite songs through her headphones.

He loved watching how ‘caught up in the moment’ she looked. Everything about her was captivating, and even through he tried to push his feelings down he found himself admiring her facial features for the 100th time that day.

He was struck.

“Why don’t you just go talk to her” his little brother demanded with a pout on his face as he realized his older brother wasn’t paying attention when he was talking about his favorite meat.

“Luffy it’s not that easy,” Ace sighed as his back met with the bench they were sitting on.

“I’m not like you, I can’t just go up and say what’s on my mind” he continued as he averted his eyes from his brothers clueless gaze.

Luffy sat for a minute with his hand on us chin as he contemplated what he would do next, smoke started to come out of his ears before he sighed in defeat.

He and his brother sat in silence for a few seconds before his younger brother perked up with a lightbulb over his head.

Luffy looked at his older brother with as a mischievous smiled played upon his features before he stood up. Ace looked at his younger brother with a questionable look on his face before Luffy spoke; “Then I’ll do it!” He declared confidently.

Before Luffy got the chance to run over to the H/C haired girl Ace snatched him back by the coller of his shirt.

“Luffy don’t go over there! You’ll probably say something stupid and end up embarrassing me!” his brother scolded at a light blush made its way on his cheeks.

Ace sighed before standing himself up with a determined look on his face. “Okay, I’ll go talk to her, and ask her if she maybe wants to go get lunch together” he spoke as the new found confidence made its way to him.

“Wish me luck” he smiled.

Ace looked back at luffy causing Luffy to give him a thumbs up and a smile that took over half his face.

Once ace turned back around he found himself already in front of the girl where she sat with the book in her lap and headphones in her ears.

She had an infatuated look on her face as she bit her lip a little.

Ace hadn’t known he had been staring until she finally looked up at him with one of her headphones in her hand as she cocked an eyebrow up at him.

The feckled boy then began to rub the back of his neck as he looked at anything but the girl. The confidence he had before was now gone and it was replaced with embarrassment.

“May I help you” she spoke, her voice was soft, calming, and as sweet as honey. He could listen to it all day.

“U-um I was w-ordering” he tried to speak but it came out in stutters as he tried to find the right words.

The girl tilted her head to the side a little signaling she was still a little confused.

“W-well um, I was wondering I-if” he tried to speak again miserably failing. Again.

Ace clenched his fist on the hem of his uniform taking a deep breath.

“I was wondering if you would like to go out for lunch sometime!” He spoke rather loud and quick.

The girl looked a bit taken back before her gaze shifted from Ace to his little broker who could be heard loudly laughing. Luffy hunched over clutching his stomach as he laughed at his older brother trying to get a date.

Ace looked back at Luffy with a heavy red blush on his cheek as he scolded him with facial expressions.

The (H/C) haired girl then shifted her gaze back to Ace having a small laugh leave her mouth which caught the boys attention really quick.

He looked at her, his eyes meeting her (E/C) colored ones. His face felt like it was on fire as he looked at the girl waiting for her answer.

“You k-know on s-second thought” he began only to be cut off by the girl.

“I would love to” she said giving him a closed eye smile with a light blush on her cheek.

Two updates in one day! I’m pretty proud of myself even through this was just sitting in my drafts. Hope you enjoyed it☽☾

CHECKMATE

You sat down in the dimly lit room where you had been waiting for about 5 minutes now.

Looking up slightly, the shadow that was only mere steps away stood at the other side of the room causing your lips to form into a small manipulative smirk befor hiding it behind your usual apathetic face.

The boy wore a high school uniform, he had messy green hair and freckles covered his cheeks, he held a sadistic smile on his face as he looked at you as if he had won a shiny trophy.

Being the UA traitor yourself, you stared at the freckled boy who held a deranged look in his eyes as he looked at his “𝕕𝕒𝕣𝕝𝕚𝕟𝕘”

All the watching, waiting and stalking held up to the glorious moment he thought.

He’d do anything for you, and you knew that, so what better than to play into his young gullible emotions.

He began to walk to the side of the room where you had resided in, at that moment you knew it was time to put on a show.

You began to tremble in “fear” as your back hit the wall. Although you physically looked afraid and helpless, anyone could see the malicious intent in your eyes.

That is, everyone except him.

“dont be scared my darling, I would never think about hurting you” he spoke as he brought his coarse had up to your soft cheek.

You shuddered in disgust at the look that he held in his eyes, the look saying that he had control over you. ‘𝐷𝑖𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑠𝑡𝑒𝑓𝑢𝑙.’ You thought.

You hated the thought of being looked down on, to be beneath somone. You loathed it, in those moments it took you everything to suppress the the muderous aura you started to give off.

A devious smirk played itself on your face as the boy brought his hand around your waist and pulled you forward causing you to meet his chest.

You looked at him, taking you hand and began caressing his cheek before you spoke.

“Izuku, you love me, do you not?”

beginning to get excited you smiled now having another pawn on your board, another move to make, another person to knock down, another person to manipulate, and that person was wrapped around your finger.

“I do” he spoke as his desperate intentions began to rise, he had never felt more satisfied in life, to him this was his greatest achievement. 𝑌𝑜𝑢 𝑤𝑒𝑟𝑒 ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑔𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑡𝑒𝑠𝑡 𝑎𝑐ℎ𝑖𝑣𝑒𝑚𝑒𝑛𝑡.

You brought your face up to his until your mouth was close to his ear.

“𝑇ℎ𝑒𝑛 𝑠𝑤𝑖𝑡𝑐ℎ 𝑡𝑜 𝑚𝑦 𝑠𝑖𝑑𝑒 𝐼𝑧𝑢𝑘𝑢 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑤𝑒 𝑐𝑎𝑛 𝑏𝑒 𝑡𝑜𝑔𝑒𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟 𝑓𝑜𝑟𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟.”

You could feel his shock and bewilderment, the only thing on his mind right now was you, you consumed his thoughts, the feeling that was going through his body right now. He never wanted to let go of it.

You smirked against the crook of his neck as he spoke again; “𝐴𝑛𝑦𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑦𝑜𝑢, 𝑚𝑦 𝑑𝑎𝑟𝑙𝑖𝑛𝑔”

“You will be the greatest to my collection” you said as you ran your fingers through his hair to which he seemed to calm down a bit at as his arms tightend around your waist.

“𝐽𝑢𝑠𝑡 𝑑𝑜𝑛𝑡 𝑑𝑖𝑠𝑎𝑝𝑝𝑜𝑖𝑛𝑡 𝑚𝑒, 𝑚𝑦 𝐾𝑛𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡” you spoke. The goal you were reaching for began to get closer than ever, and you would do anything to reach it.

WRONG TIME

The way just your presence was captivating, The smile on your face as contagious as any sickness.

I always told myself ’𝕚 𝕔𝕠𝕦𝕝𝕕𝕟𝕥 𝕡𝕠𝕤𝕤𝕚𝕓𝕝𝕪 𝕗𝕒𝕝𝕝 𝕚𝕟 𝕝𝕠𝕧𝕖’ And here you are, proving me wrong.

It was the way that you held this childish and fun demeanor that could turn into a serious cold one in a matter of seconds when it came down to your family.

It was the way that you never went by anybody else’s rules, only your own because let’s be honest, you didn’t care.

It was the way that I fell in love with you not only for your personality but the way you gave me the happiness I couldn’t give myself.

The way you made people want to follow you on your journey of becoming king. Or how your goals and dreams slowly became mine, and oh how I longed to see you achieve them

The way you give me tranquility on days I would have given up, but yet I told myself ‘𝕀 𝕔𝕠𝕦𝕝𝕕𝕟𝕥 𝕡𝕠𝕤𝕤𝕚𝕓𝕝𝕪 𝕗𝕒𝕝𝕝 𝕚𝕟 𝕝𝕠𝕧𝕖’

The way I started to get red in the cheeks whenever I was near you or how my stomach twisted in knots. How I spotted you in every waking moment and every waking thought, or how I started to worry that one day you’d might disappear.

The way when I finally decided to tell you how I felt you couldn’t reciprocate my own feelings. how you looked me in my eyes with hurt and pain as you told me you couldn’t give me your heart. How you placed your hat upon my head and quietly apologized over and over while I only silently cried.

The way in just a matter of seconds my heart broke into tiny pieces as it told me that you were the right person just the 𝕨𝕣𝕠𝕟𝕘 𝕥𝕚𝕞𝕖.
