BACKSTORY:
Allison is the only girl in her family, and one of six siblings. She was raised in a pretty traditional family, consisting of her mother, father, and five brothers. She is also the youngest. Her father was a hot shot prosecutor attorney, and her mother is a neurosurgeon. Her relationship with both parents was always very rocky, due to how hard they always were on both her and her brothers. She found out from her brother that she was the product of a love affair, and that the person she always thought was her biological mother, wasn’t.
While her parents were always hard on all the children, they were mainly hard on her in terms of schooling. She grew up with the mindset that she would have to work extra hard to be as successful as her parents. Because of this, anything below an ‘A’ was unacceptable in their eyes, as well as her own. Growing up with this mindset, she takes school waaaay too seriously and is very hard on herself.
After finding out from Bryce that the woman who raised her wasn’t her actual mother in 2019, Allison practically began to spiral. She had found out that her father had a long term affair with another woman, her birth mother. However, this woman didn’t want her and dumped her with her dad. Hearing this, she acted very impulsively and left Monarch in order to confront her father and Marisol (the woman who raised her) about the situation. Realizing that she wasn’t in the right mental space, Allison decided to go back to New York with her dad. She began to work with a CSI and quickly became obsessed with locating and finding her birth mom. After some time, she was able to find out information about her mom, such as her name, occupation, and current residence, along with finding that she also has another daughter.
Things between Allison and Marisol hit the fan after the realization. Allison always had a feeling that the woman who raised her wasn’t the biggest fan of her, and Marisol finally confirmed the resentment she felt towards Allison all these years. After realizing that there was absolutely nothing she could do to please the other woman, Allison decided it was best to cut ties. However, her relationship with her dad grew stronger. The two became super close after the revelation, and he actually helped her pay for the CSI in order to help find her birth mother.
The strong relationship Allison and her father had developed was immediately cut short after he was killed by a gang member. Her father had been a prosecutor working on a huge case against a very infamous NYC gang leader. After winning the trial, the gang leader was sentenced to life in prison with no chance of parole. Little did her family know, her father would be attacked one night leaving a known diner just weeks after the trial ended. She had witnessed his death first hand, and hasn’t been doing well with coping. She has been blaming herself for his death ever since, feeling guilty that she wasn’t able to help him.
FUN FACTS:
She’s fluent in both spanish and french
She aspires to be either a pediatric or cardiac nurse. Working with kids is her absolute passion.
Because of her schooling, she tends to get very burnt out easily. She depends on adderall to get through some days. It mainly gets bad around midterms and finals.
The girl was officially diagnosed with anxiety, clinical depression, and ptsd after a breakdown in 2020.
She internalizes EVERYTHING. You won’t find her casually talking about her problems and feelings. For what’s everyones concern, she’s a happy girl focused on her academics and volunteering work.
She’s very sweet, very kind, a bit naive, but also a lil sassy when she has to be.
WHERE SHE’S BEEN SINCE 2020:
With her mental health taking a turn for the absolute worse, Allison decided it was best to take a very much needed break from school. For the past year she’s been going back and forth between New York and California, helping manage her fathers law firm alongside one of her older brothers. And while she’s taken quite the interest in law, her heart is, and always will be, in healthcare. That, and she’s been taking the time to volunteer at various children’s hospitals, along quality time with her older brothers (as that was her attempt to make herself feel better for Bryce being gone). She officially moved back to California once she received word that her Bryce was coming home, and has been keeping a close eye on him since.
