Robyn was born in Dublin, Ireland and raised by her grandparents following her mother’s death during child birth. She was given her mother’s name (Roisin) as her middle name in memory of her mum.

Her dad was never in the picture. He was a student from the US when he knocked up her mum and disappeared back to America before he could find out about the pregnancy.

Growing up, Robyn held a strong passion for dancing and ended up taking dance lesson and ending up loving ballroom among other dances.

Normally, Robyn has always been a very quiet girl (an introvert) but when she dances, she seems to just command a room and let every emotion move through her body. It a release for her.

In fact, Robyn has competed in ballroom competitions across Europe over the years and has held a couple of titles in the past for her ballroom skills.

Being the quiet shy kid, Robyn was bullied throughout school with a couple of close friends, some who ended up switching sides and leaving her behind making her small circle smaller. 

When deciding what she wanted to do about university, she ended up craving an adventure. She loves her home but she feels like she can’t grow if she stays at home which has led her to America.

Up to this point, Robyn has been pretty sheltered. She’s never had alcohol. She’s never been partying. She’s never had sex. Her life has always been around routine and being the good girl. There may be a chance she wants to be free of her former life and actually embrace this new found freedom. 

There is also a selfish part of her that has been trying to locate her dad and has tracked him to San Diego. She’s hoping to eventually meet him but she is highkey scared to actually meet him.

lily left monarch in september for an amazing opportunity to study while working in a lab in new york so she packed her bags, took her daughter, aria, and went to new york

aria settled in to new york like a pro but lily struggled quite a bit. going through a heart break and then the stress of moving to somewhere completely new, lily struggled more than she’d ever say.

she struggled a lot with loneliness since she had no support system for looking after aria for her to spend time with people.

there were talks of the project funding being pulled in november which the course tried to appeal but were unsuccessful leading to all students going back to their respective unversities in december

this has led lily to coming back to monarch. lily on the surface would seem sad about it but at the same time, inside, she was happy to be going back somewhere where she felt supported.

one thing lily loved about being there was the independence away from her baby daddy’s parents house so when she knew she was moving back to california, she has got herself a little two bedroom apartment for her and aria.

she feels bad for aria having made friends in new york and now having to start at a new school but she is happy to be back.

she’s got her old job back at grounded as a barista but instead of working at octavia, she’s working as a waitress at tony’s pizzeria.

Faith and her twin sister, Mercy, are the daughters of a reverend. Being raised around the church, Faith and Mercy were raised very religious to the point where Faith was certain her dad would want them to be nuns if he could make them. While Mercy was very loyal to the church and always did as their father told them, Faith always questioned things around her. Some parts of the bible never made sense to her and sounded more like a fairytale but when her dad became defensive, she learnt to shut up and just accept it. It didn’t stop her questioning things again later that day but her dad’s booming voice was enough to shut up Faith. Out of her and Mercy, Faith got in the most trouble from a young age. She liked attention. She liked all eyes to be on her. It was straight away that the stage took her interest. She loved to sing and dance and act and have people watch her. 

𝘵𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴 -

In her teen years, Faith grew more and more out of control. Her father’s yelling no longer had the same effect than it used to have. She wasn’t scared of him. She was embracing living in the real world. When her dad found her in bed with a boy, he screamed about her being the devil’s child and no daughter of his. Her mother and sister stood back, not daring to say anything as her father kicked her out of the house at sixteen. She moved in with her best friend and her family and was raised like one of them. When they moved to New York, they decided to adopt her and be legally her caregivers so she could go with them. With that, Faith moved to New York and embraced the glitz and glamour that was the Big Apple. If anything, this allowed her to divulge in more chaos. There were a lot of men and women that she experimented with. Alcohol was not uncommon and some occasional drug use wasn’t prohibited. Faith relished in New York - breaking hearts and having the time of her life. She really didn’t care about who she hurt.

𝘢𝘥𝘶𝘭𝘵 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦 - 

After leaving school, she left the care dependency of her adopted family and went to make life on her own. This was how she ended up stripping to make money and pay for her apartment in New York. It wasn’t uncommon either for her to go home with guys for a place to crash where she didn’t have to pay for electric or gas or water and she certainly had an eye for guys who could spoil her. After a few years of stripping in New York, she knew she wanted to get on to the stage but needed to build her resume. In doing this, she spotted adverts for courses in theatre that she could join which has led her to California to study.

Faith has been at Monarch for about a year now where she has become the president of Alpha Chi Omega and boy, does Faith know how to hide scandals and make sure she is the host with the most at their parties. She is also one of the members of the cheer squad at the university and just to keep some regular money coming in, she strips at Members Only. She knows she’s good at it and it allows her to spoil herself too.

o  bryce is the second youngest and the fourth child of five. his father was a famous prosecutor for both the states of connecticut and new york. his mom is a neurosurgeon. he’s very close with his siblings, his parents...not so much. 

o  his dad was murdered in front of his little sister in new york city in early july 2019 after his father put a notorious gang leader in jail for life without the possibility of parole. this death really shook the entire family, but it particularly shook bryce the most considering that they had just been attempting to rekindle their relationship with their dad. he never had a good relationship with his dad due to how hard he was on bryce, and this is something that bryce is starting to regret as he looks back on it.

o  He can be a sweet heart, but don’t let this fool you. He can also be a complete ass who will put you in your place when needed. He’s a firm believer of the whole “respect is earned” saying, so if you don’t give him any reason to respect you, he won’t.

o  he was diagnosed with ADHD when he was eight years old, so trying to remain focused and just school in general was always a struggle for him. However, he was able to get his ADHD under control when he did his time in the military, so he now doesn’t rely on the medication.

o before being with AJ, bryce hadn’t been in an actual relationshp since his senior year of high school. during the fall time of his senior year, his girlfriend of a year and a half died in a fatal car accident, in which he was the driver. The memory still haunts him to this day, and it’s something that he won’t talk about…not even to his sister. he never got to mourn her death, due to the fact that so many people blamed him (even though they had gotten t-boned). this is what caused him to join the military. he needed to get away from home and everyone that associated him with her death. basically, he ran away from everything that reminded him of her.

o  he dealt with his girlfriend’s death through drinks and girls (this is the way he deals with almost everything). he slept around a lot and made it a habit of drowning out his sorrows through the use of alcohol. he hasn’t been drinking as much as he did before, in fact he only drinks in social occasions. because he grew up in greenwich, he was only about an hour away from NYC. in order to escape his parents, siblings, and basically his life in general, he would often run away and drive up there, especially the weekends. 

o  bryce decided to join the air force when he was a senior in high school. along with trying to run away from his problems, he had realized that he wasn’t ready to move onto the big life that is college in that very moment, but he refused to just stay home and work a basic minimum wage job. joining the air force gave him opportunities and matured the boy more than anyone could’ve ever imagined. because he was in the air force, bryce has been traveling a lot the last couple of years. throughout this time, he managed to still get into trouble when it came to girls (he can be a bit of a player/jackass).

o  he hates when people try to get him to talk about his life, but he’s always the first to ask about theirs

o  he’s incredibly loving if you break through his wall, and he’s known for being an amazing friend (and an amazing party buddy)

o  he’s still pretty wild

o  he’s in love with art and likes to draw and paint during his free time

o  he’s a huge gym freak so he’s super fit and has worked as a personal trainer in the past. 

WHERE HE’S BEEN SINCE MONARCH

bryce got deployed to afghanistan mid to late june for both service and flight school. little did he know, shit would literally hit the fan in just a matter of a few months. when it was announced that american troops were exiting the country, things got suddenly hectic for bryce; he was working 24 hour shift, rushing to finish any last minute affairs/duties that still had to be fulfilled. unfortunately, a day before his duty end date, he was a casualty to an unfortunate attack against american troops. as a result, he sustained multiple injuries and was in the hospital for three weeks. he was stabilized in afghanistan, and then transferred over to a safer location.

after his breakup with amber-jade, he fell down the biggest hole he’s ever been in. he relapsed and began drinking heavily and sleeping around. he began skipping a lot of his duty shifts, in which people like audrey and other military friends had to cover for him. he’s still trying to emotionally recover from the breakup - because even though the breakup was amicable, amber-jade was the first person he’s given himself to fully after his high school girlfriend. 

MENTAL HEALTH AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE 

bryce suffers from severe ptsd, from both the car accident and the military. he’s been through two explosions now, many shootouts, sexual assault, amongst other brutal things. he has now developed a pretty bad case of insomnia after this last round of deployment. he’ll sleep, but only for a few hours at time. the man has since relapsed on drugs since his and AJ’s breakup. he doesn’t really abuse substances to have a good time, but more so to survive and escape his own mind. he was always taught that therapy was a bad thing as a kid, so he doesn’t part take in it now. 

important to note: bryce got honorably discharged from the military after he sustained life threatening injuries almost two months ago. he is no longer in the military!

- noel is the youngest of the callaghan siblings, younger than hannah by only 2 years

- she was only 3 when their mother died, she doesn’t remember much of anything about their mom considering she was so young

- as she grew up, she was always closer with hannah than her other siblings, though all of them were considerably close due to their father not being around much because of work ; the twins had each other and noel had hannah

- though she doesn’t even really know much about her mom, she absolutely idolizes her, her mother is a huge driving factor as to why noel is the way that she is today—she wants her mom to look down from heaven and be proud of the woman she’s growing into

- it was no secret that their father used his work as a huge way to cope with his grief, he practically buried himself into his job instead of really being present in their family and hannah was a huge contributor to noel’s care

- her older siblings were usually the ones picking her up from school, driving her to soccer practice, helping her with her homework and other things of that nature, which inevitably made sure all of them stayed close

- it did hurt her a bit that her dad seemingly always chose work over his family, but she never held it against him and took every single opportunity she could to be around him, which is why she’s closer to him than the other callaghan siblings

- that being said, hannah always held a bit of resentment for their father and the way that he dealt with the grief and often times when the two would fight noel would be the one who got between them and convinced them to stop

- it was like hell watching all of her siblings go off and move away to college before her, the two years that she had to spend with hannah in a different country than her were some of the hardest times of her life ; but it also brought she and her father closer especially considering that she was the last child in the house

- once noel graduated from her lower level education, she immediately applied to monarch

- she spent her first two years of school traveling abroad while completing her lower level classes in both france an italy, studying architecture there

- now that she’s in her upper division classes she has finally made it to san diego to be reunited with her sister and best friend

- noel is notoriously the sweetest and easiest to get along with out of all the callaghan siblings and especially in comparison to hannah

- a huge quality she picked up from her father is getting lost in her work, but it’s not because she’s trying to avoid feeling something, it’s mainly because she’s so passionate about what she’s doing that she sometimes forgets to take a breath of fresh air (and hannah has always been the one to remind her to)

- that being said, she LOVES to have a good time in every way, shape and form. she takes careful note of how important it is to get away from her studies and just have some fun sometimes

Is that KRISTINE FROSETH on campus? Oh no, that’s ELEANOR ‘NORA’ MERCER. From HOUGHTON, MICHIGAN, USA, the 20 year old has come to study PSYCHOLOGY. Daughter of a teen mum and dad - still in high school

Once she was born, her mum’s parents basically dropped her off at the dad’s house and then moved away from Houghton

Her grandparents and dad took her in and adored her. Despite no mum, Nora would describe herself as having an amazing childhood full of love and support

Her dad, however, had a lot of demons he hid from her to try and keep her happy. He was very depressed but had to keep going for Nora’s sake

She loves swimming and even thought about that being her career during school. She was the strongest swimming on her school swim team and won a lot of medals.

Her grandparents died within a couple years of each other from when she was twelve so it really was just her and her dad from that point on.

After she turned 18 and graduated from high school, that summer, her dad unfortunately couldn’t take it anymore. He took his hunting shotgun and shot himself in the head. Nora found him a couple of hours later.

Once she had basically organized the funeral with the help of her dad’s friends, she attended everything she had focused her energy in to and then came home. The silence was deafening. That night she packed two suitcase, got in her dad’s truck and started driving. No destination in mind, just driving.

She has spent just under two years driving around the united states - never staying in one place for more than a month. It was the one thing that could keep her mind off of everything and making her okay with feeling alone in the world.

Eleanor went back to her home when she decided she couldn’t keep running from everything forever. She wanted to understand and that’s when she read about Monarch University - some Alumni from her small town making it big or something in the paper.

She got accepted with her high school grades and has moved out to Monarch University to study psychology. She hopes to understand everything that happened more and eventually help those with depression. 

Only just arrived at Monarch so completely new and starting actual classes in September

both of his other siblings are half siblings, but he basically refers to them as full blooded

jameson’s mom had a heart of gold & would do anything to make her children happy. 

she made sure that her kids didn’t feel like they were poor 

this is why he put all of his time and effort into making sure they had the best life.

growing up, jameson’s mom would always put on old school soul songs (i.e. motown music, marvin gaye, billie holiday, ray charles, etta james, etc), this caused him to follow in love with music 

he decided to pursue a career in music once his mother gave her blessing & kept it a secret due to the fact that she would disapproved. 

he came to monarch due to the fact they have a good music program

Alix was born in Santa Monica, California, with his twin sister, Alicia, following late behind him. She’s always been the type who enjoys making an entrance, from birth even to more current times.

Aside from his sister he had four brothers: Damien, the youngest at 14, Thomas. 21, and Jack, 23, who were both adopted, and Richard, 25, the oldest of the five Wayne siblings. For the most part they all get along and they’ve always shared the same protectiveness over their only sister.

Despite getting along fairly well with his siblings, the only one who has ever truly understood him is his sister. He’d blame it on the bonds twins seem to share with each other from day one but deep down he knows that even if they weren’t twins, Alicia and him would still share a deeper bond than any of their other siblings possess. She is the one he’s always felt comfortable confiding in because she’s the only one who’s not only allowed him to be himself when they’re together, but as also encouraged him to. They are each other’s best friends.

Unlike his sister, though, he hadn’t spent the entirety of his childhood and teenhood growing up with their brothers. Up until he was 15 he had lived with his mother, his and Alicia’s mother, not only by the choice of others but by the choice of his own. It’s a messy story to explain, and one that only seems to make sense to those who lived through it and not to those who are only told about it. Alicia had only lived with them until she was old enough to realize whether she preferred living with their father over their mother. And at the age of 12 she had decided to move out to be with their other parent.

Living with just his mom gave them a child/parent bond that felt unbreakable. Just as his sister always had, their mother encouraged him to be his own person. But there was a downside to that. With the encouragement came complete free reign of his life. There was no strict parental figure in his life and without one to guide him to the right paths in life he found himself crashing down the worst. 

Drugs became a part of his life early on —earlier than anyone would have preferred, if given the option to.

It started with weed, throughout high school he and his “friends” would skip class, or play hooky all together, to smoke. As the effects started to lessen even as he increased how much he smoked, he turned to stronger things.

He got into Monarch through the well known name of his father, daddy’s money in general, and because his father was, and still is despite his better judgment, confident that Alix is a bright young man with plenty of potential. He just needs a push in the right direction, his father had said from time to time. And he wouldn’t get that push if his father didn’t press his hands against his back and give a firm shove.

𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙨𝙪𝙢𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙮 :

Overall, Alix likes to keep to himself. His brothers call him a recluse and really that description isn’t far from the truth.

That being said, there are times where he brings himself out of his shell. Whether out of curiosity or out of force, or even out of some type of desperation. 

When that happens, his personality shifts.

When prompted Alix can be quite the flirt but that doesn’t mean he’s looking for any sort of commitment to someone. Sometimes he likes to have fun, mess around, pretend he’s someone that isn’t him for a night. Reality can be too much for him.

He has a habit of pickpocketing people just for the thrill so please pay be alert when he’s around you, if you’re aware of the fact.

When he’s high he becomes a different person entirely. Unlike when he pretends, everything about him is still genuine even though it’s like you’re face to face with somebody else. He’s not afraid of deep conversations, revealing things about himself and sharing his thoughts.

He’s a classic case of ‘a bright kid turned washed up adult.’ He did well in school until he burned out.

Shy might be a good way to describe him when he’s sober. 

Alix is nothing like either of his parents, or like his siblings. To them he looks like an outlier and he’s the only one to blame for that. 

He likes being able to use his hands. He likes putting them to good use. Building, designing, drawing... The list goes on. If you give him the opportunity to show off how skilled his hands are, he will gladly reveal.

Daddy Wayne might have money but Alix doesn’t want to spend a dime more than he has to. He’s letting his father pay for his education but everything else comes from his own pocket. And to be honest, Alix likes to work. It gives him the chance to people watch (he has a fun game he likes to play when he’s people watching) all while making money to live like he’s independent. He likes to work for what he has.

You’ll never catch him at a party of his own free will if you want to see him at one you’ll have to drag him there yourself.
