one thing about my creations is that after more than 15 years making this I thought that after years of doing the same thing, I would be less critical of myself, that I wouldn't obsess over every detail, every frame composition, and every color. I often spent hours of my day tweaking layer after layer just to produce work that satisfied me, though I rarely think: oh that's really good! Over the years, that hasn't changed much but what has clearly changed, and made a huge difference is the pressure I put on myself and the tendency to compare myself to others. The beautiful thing about this art form (yes, it is art) is that each of us has our own style and brings our own unique colors to the work. And that is priceless. Thank you for letting me post what I love and for showing appreciation for my favorite hobby. Forever grateful! 💜

As long as you're organized, you can balance a work, keeping a routine and enjoying one of my favorite hobbies. And when it gets overwhelming, I just queue everything, because sometimes there's so much content that you just have to take it slow. Honestly, I probably waste too much time picking the perfect moments for my gifs 😅 Anyway, just wanted to say thanks and I'll leave you with someone who helps me express my gratitude and how surprised I was to see you in my notify 💜

I was tagged by @rjshope @minyoongi-ah @defendingwarrior @heybaetae @jung-koook @jjungkkook @yoongikook @hobipowers and @yoonqiful (jesus christ so many of you) to do this lovely, very dear to my heart tag game!!!

True to myself I don't save any of my gifs, psds so I colored what files I still had on my laptop again from scratch. So even if you find the original gifset these are from (except jin, he is not on my blog!), only that last tiny yoompling will be the same. This challenge reminded me a bit of why creating gifs is fun, seeing how a gif comes to life with a tiny bit of coloring. What I do is not really that much, I have a coloring psd saved and I use and modify that but it's still fun!

And thank you all so much for thinking of me, and tagging me to do this and finding me worthy enough to take part in the game..:)

Here's a bit of a mix since their comeback. I tend to keep my colorings very simple and always try to get rid off the yellow tones and increase the cyans/blues ones if that's possible. Getting to color some of these gifs have been very painful lol but very fun also.

I love seeing the ~transformations~ of your beautiful creations. most of these gifs are from the concerts. actually, I had forgotten to save some for this gifset until kelli reminded me 😅 I think we all know how hard it was to get the colouring right for this tours concerts, so I believe we should all be really proud of what we've done. ♡ the sharpening on these probably looks weird but that's just because I resized the original gifs 😭 I was too lazy to make new ones. i tried to arrange these from row to row by category like dvd/series > red lighting/grading > yellow color grading > blue lighting/grading > fancams. there have been a lot of challenges since the comeback when it comes to coloring gifs (especially official concert streams) and there have definitely been times i've scrapped entire sets because it felt impossible, but i'm proud of the ones i've managed to tackle! my thing will always be making the whites (like clothes and teeth) as white as i can and the blacks (like clothes, hair, stage backgrounds) as black as i can without making it look weird or washing out their skin. i don't always get it right, but i try my best.
