When Night Came Too Soon...(Jimin)
You and your boyfriend have been walking for 5 minutes just enjoying each others presence. The wind blows lightly and you have a smile on your face that canât seemed to be wiped away. He looks at you a smiles softly.
"Why are you so happy?" He ask hoping youâd say it was because of him.
"Well Iâm almost home I get to get away from you." You joke pushing him lightly and chuckle as he pouts like a child. "Ahhh Jimin~ stop! You know I donât mean itâŚ"
You stop and turn to him and look in to his eyes. Or whatever is left of them. He smiles lightly and you see the moonlight reflect off his smooth skin. He smirked and took your hands into his. He brought your hand up and kissed it lightly will still looking deeply into your eyes. This is the most intimate you two have been. You have always been afraid of skin ship of this level. Hormones have never been a good thing, all they do is lead to future mistakes; hormones are something that you couldnât affordâŚespecially trying to get into Harvard.
"JiminâŚ" You say softly hoping heâd get the hint.
"Sorry, you just look soâŚbeautiful today." Jimin pulled you into a hug and squeezed you tight. He smiled into your hair and whispered something inaudible and you questioned what he said. But his head just lie in between your shoulder and neck and his breath tickled your neck every time he exhaled. Once the shock set in, you grabbed him and pushed him against you.
"What did you say Jimin?âŚ" You asked hoping he would tell you what he so easily told your hair.
"I saidâŚ" Jimin got up so he could look at you so you know that what he said is genuine. His milky brown eyes stare into yours. He inhaled a big breath of air and closed his eyes building up the courage. "I said I love you." Jimin stated confidentiality with an affirmative nod.
For seconds you stood there shocked, speechless, confused and scared. He loved you? He never seemed like the kind to confess something so serious, something that involved him to commit himself fully to a girl especially someone like you. You always got made fun of because the girls in your class didnât believe you deserved someone as popular as Jimin. Yet you still have him and you donât know how.
But one thing you know is you feel the same way. You love his goofy smiles, and stupid laugh. You love the way when he smiles his eyes almost disappear completely. The way when youâre cold he gets his jacket and tells you how adorable it is when your face is red because of the chilled air. Tears of joy formed at the edge of your eyes as you mirrored the way Jimin was starring at you. Starstruck and in love.
"Ah JiminâŚyouâre so stupid! I love you tooâŚ" You tackle him into a hug and held on like he is the most precious thing in the world. Jimin bent down and for the first time, he kissed you. It was soft and loving and filled with passion. This kiss was filled with emotion Jimin has been waiting to get out. You pull away and look at him thoughtfully before pulling him into another tight hug. "Come on I have to get homeâŚ" You grab Jimin hand and continue on the route to your house.
"Where did the day go? I want to stay with you!" Jimin whined while nudging you.
"I knowâŚit feels like the night came too soon." You whisper more to yourself more than him. You look over and find a smile etched into his face. You smile even more knowing youâre the reason it is there. You truly love this man and no matter what you know that these feelings will never change. He is yours and you are his. Now and forever. Young love, will blossom into something much more rich and beautiful. And you smile not able to wait until then.
