HELLO ALL

this is just a blog for me to post about ocs! this can be anything from random short oc thoughts to art to actual yaps :D

im gonna use this "intro post" type thing to keep statistics on my ocs too because why tf not!

for the name, i'll use whichever name i refer to them most by, so for example instead of #christina-yaps itd be #chrissy-yaps :D

Every time i remember that i have a child nazi oc i wanna die.

EXCEPT I ACTUALLY THINK ITS A GOOD OC, AND HE DOES SERVE A PURPOSE.

My Cabaret OC!!

Basically, this OC is a 8-10 year old aryan boy during the 1930s, and if he was actually in the show, I'd only have him in three small scenes. Just enough to be able to show change whilst not taking the spotlight from the more important characters.

1 - At the beginning of act 1, he is your average polite boy, probably just playing outside and having fun by himself.

2 - At the beginning of act 2, he appears again, now making sublte comments that relate to Nazi ideals and talking about what he has been learning in school (because of German school systems switching to teach Nazi ideals to children).

3 - Further into act 2, probably just before Sally terminates her pregnancy, he would appear for a final time. This time, he has fully taken on Nazi ideals and is a part of the Hitler Youth, even pretending to be a soldier chasing down the "bad Jewish people".

Basically, he would just show the control and influence that Hitler had over German children through the education system and things like the Hitler Youth, because I feel like it's not a topic that is discussed a lot in general.

He would also serve to make Sally further question her decision about whether or not to keep her baby, as it forces her to think more about the environment that the hypothetical child would have to be raised in.

This OC isn't even named, but I'm proud of the concept lmao

uhh im gonna do this with just my heathers ocs:

eli - on his 3rd now (if you can even count his current bc...well...grooming)

chrissy - on her 2nd (although the first was more of a fling than anything proper)

connie - i dont have an exact number for her, but shes probably on her 4th or 5th

rupert - 1st or 2nd, he gives me the vibes of someone who takes a while to get into relationships even if he has a crush (hey...demiromantic?? possibly...??)

where did your oc's name come from?

almost all of my ocs (the only ones who dont use this are the odd few i made before i starting using it) use name meanings! uhh i'll list a few cuz its cool

Christina Plath = (Christina Rossetti + Sylvia Plath, they're both poets and Chrissy is a poet!)

Felix Brauer = (Felix = luck) (Brauer = farmer) (he's groomed in the story, so i played on the fact that people considered male victims lucky at the time)

Connie Nestor = (Connie = constant) (Nestor = traveler/returner) (she has dated many people who have all broken up with her because she moves/"travels" too fast)

Abie Savreen - (Abie = father of many) (Savreen = multitalents) (Abie Savreen = father of many multitalents, she can do a LOT of skills and bounces between them!!)

Felicity Moira = (Felicity = good luck) (Moira = fate/destiny) (shes a final destination oc, the irony of the name is that she dies in the accident at the start)

fun fact!! eli (one of my heathers ocs) has asthma but if he thinks he's having a "good day" he just won't take his inhaler out with him (which sometimes he ends up regretting. obviously.)

this may or may not be based off of me not taking meds with me when i think im having a good day with stomach issues

my new heathers oc gives the same vibes as vixen by destroy boys (i'll probably post a bit about him soon because hes cool)
