for decades, leavenworth has been a top tourist destination on the pacific coast, and more than a million tourists visit every year for a taste of northwestern hospitality. from annual traditions to monthly festivals and everything in between, there's always something happening here, and city council is always up to something exciting.
it's a new year! a time for giving, and forgiving. a time for endings, for starting fresh, and second, third, fourth, and seventh chances.
even leavenworth is slowly crawling into the future. there's a new, young mayor, with a lot of ideas. fresh faces on city council, looking to do something new and different. and rumour has it there's been a snooty real estate developer from the big city snooping around - you know he can't be up to any good.
the real question is: how much change can this small town handle?
