K: Why does he have two names?

M: Who?

K: Him, James Miller, he has two names.

M: Well, there were two James in town, and they need to distinguish them. That James works as a Miller, so he's James Miller.

K: What does the other James do for work?

M: He's a baker

K: So James Miller and James Baker.

M: He's actually called James Hill, since he lives on one.

K: And James Miller doesn't?!

M: It was a very distinctive hill.

K: But what about the three namers, that Elliot Robert Son.

M: Two names actually, Elliot Robertson.

K: What sort of job or place is a Robertson?

M: Well, he's the son of Robert.

K: You're lying.

M: Honest to God, that's why he's called it.

K: There's no rhyme or reason to any of these second names!

M: It's just a means to distinguish them: job, place, family. It's how we know people.

K: Yes, you know so many people that you can't make new names. You must keep calling them James and John and Joshua and never Skenrish! Because Skenrish is a 'bad name.'

M: It is a bad name! No one wants to be named like you!

K: There's no one else to be named like me.

[Silence]

K: ...if you had a second name, what would yours be?

M: Something I share with you, Love.

K: Of course, my Hært.

Is your HTH device malfunctioning? Here's some questions you should ask yourself:

1. Have you come in contact with anything strange recently?

Sometimes, new things cause unexpected reactions which can manifest in your HTH device. Sometimes, strange things hide in everyday objects.

If this is the case, report any strange encounters to Hart Corporation and a debug team will be on the way!

2. Have you tried to mod your HTH device?

The programming of your HTH device is both complicated and extremely sensitive, Unauthorized modifications void your warranty and can cause unwanted side effects.

If this is the case, then deactivate your HTH device immediately and contact help desk for further instruction.

3. Have you made an odd friend?

Your HTH device is meant to link you to others, but sometimes, those others are hiding who they are. Coming into contact with or even trying to understand someone like that is harmful and can manifest in your HTH device.

If this is the case, cease interaction and contact Hart Corporation about the individual.

4. Did you recently undergo brain surgery?

The brain is extremely complex organ. Changes due to surgery can manifest in your HTH device.

If this is the case, do a slow deactivation, reset your device, and go through setup instructions. A quick deactivation can be used but is recommended only for emergencies.

5. Do you have a fascination with unexplainable phenomena?

Imagination is a powerful tool that can lead us to strange places. Sometimes, this can play tricks on how we see the world.

If this is the case, then know that your HTH device is trying to protect you. Contact Hart Corporation and report what you're seeing. Help will be on the way.

The Crying Dead

I looked up the t-shirt Gwen wears, it's from a band she leads. She never mentioned it before, but it makes sense with how often she practices. Plus, it's not like I talked to her much before. Must be difficult with only two members. Still, it's neat how long she's kept to her dream.

I don't have the courage to stick to mine.
