I never realized this particular moment but I was recently rewatching 'A Very Supernatural Christmas' and when the girl dressed as a elf walks to Sam and Dean while they're starring at Santa talk to the kids, she asks if she can escort THEIR child to him and Dean gets this funny weirded out look and Sam just smiles. I never realized that moment before.

HA! I never noticed that before either. She definitely thinks they’re a couple bringing their kid to see Santa and look at their faces:

That’s just one more moment that makes this episode great. We have the Samulet origin story, them actually playing a gay couple:

protective Dean being all glib when they threaten him but freaking out when they go after Sam:

And then the whole end scene where Sam tries to make Dean’s last Christmas a good one:
