6月中旬からまた1年間、フランスのパリを拠点に活動することになりました。今回はアーティストとしてのビザで、音や音楽、ヴィジュアルアートでの表現を日々模索していきたいと思っています。

I’ll be based in Paris again from mid-June for another year.

I hope to continue exploring sound, music and visual arts in daily life. If there’s any chance to work or create together, please feel free to contact me.

Stamp works is an ongoing project in which Madachi translates remembered words and environmental sounds into reproducible stamp forms.

Developed during her year-long stay in France in 2025, the project explores the structure of sound — rhythm, spacing, and repetition — through printing.

Haruko Madachi is an artist based between Paris and Tokyo. Born on this day in 1995. Her practice connects paper, print, sound, and touch.

A short video(5:39) of the performance I presented at Yvon Lambert in Paris on June 29, as part of the exhibition "Ma - entre les lignes -". Directed by Taichi Hishikawa It was an improvisation using paper, clarinet, guitar, cassette tapes, and loops.

パリにあるYvon Lambert Galleryにて展示 - Ma entre les lignes - の一環として、初日と最終日にギャラリー内で演奏しました。1回目はその場でギターとクラリネットと声による即興。2回目は、折る、書く、切るなど1枚のプリント用紙から生まれる音をマイクで録りながら重ね、楽器と合わせた即興。小さい頃絵本の読み聞かせで紙がめくられる時、紙が光るのを見るのが好きだった。紙が作りだす記憶について考えてみたいと思いこのような即興をしました。ありがとうございました！

I performed as part of the exhibition "Ma - entre les lignes -". when I was little, I love watching the paper shine when someone turned the page of a picture book. I wanted to think about memories that paper created. so I improvised using paper this time. thank you so much Yvon Lambert Gallery, and watching my performance.

日本のコンビニプリントを活用して、パリでの日々を月1ペースで手紙として発行している。今回は3回目。

コンビニはレーザープリンターで、少し暖かいままプリントされる。焼きたてのパンみたいで好き、出来立てのプリントが日本のどこかのコンビニで出力されて誰かの手に渡っていると思うと嬉しい！（プリント回数だけこちらから見える）その熱は、もしかしたら、ここで暮らしている熱のようなものに似ているかもしれない？置き換わる温度、冷めたり熱くなったり、様々な温度でやっていきましょう。

書きたいことが追い付いてはいないけれど、

もうすぐ夏がやってくる！

フローリストYu YOSHIDAさんのプロジェクト YUNIK Fleur の企画にコントリビュータとして参加しパリの書店で販売されているお花のアソートメントを音にしました。

Republique駅からYvon Lambertへ、本の中で過ごすアソートメントを受け取りに行き、メトロで座ると自分が隠れるくらいの大きさだった。写真は音の覚え書き。
