drawing college hiccup with lizard toothless (´∀`)b
Dad and son
Holy shiznit. I haven't been on this blog in a year. How's it going?
Open Roleplay;
Grey clouds made their way idly through the sky, hardly disturbed by the adolescence making his way through on the currents of the wind, scattering snow as he went over city, town, village, city. Nothing was spared from the fluttering mess. Nothing was saved each time he made his way down to the streets, sliding the curved end of his staff along the cement, dirt, asphalt to ice it over as people walked along, ignoring the male.
No, not ignoring. They simply didn’t see him. Not a thing of him. Not the blue, frost coated hoodie, the tanned pants with the bindings along the edges. Now the silver hair, piercing blue eyes, pale, peach skin nor how his lips crooked upwards to the right in a grin of amusement. The adults and older children couldn’t see him.
The younger generation could. Well. Some of them.
The smile on his lips flickered to a small bit of bitterness, loneliness at the fact this was not one of the towns, villages, cities, places where children saw him, cried out and called to him to bring them a day of snowballs, snow fights, forts, snowmen, and snow days were schools called off for the day and allowed the youngsters to enjoy live and childhood. This was not one of the places. It just simple a reminder that he had a long way to go until he was seen as well as the other guardians. It would take time, effort and patience.
Jack Frost wasn’t know for his patience though.
It was nasty day... well kind of. While he was grateful for the sunny absence beyond the clouds, the chance of rain or snow threatened to ruin his dry day. Though, if the small cloud his breath formed upon exhaling was anything to go by, there was going to be a great possibility of snow or even more possible- hail. Oh how he loved hail. He simply loved being pelted by the small ice balls that could get up to the size of gulf balls and leave bruises on him for weeks to come. He always seemed to have the misfortune of getting beaten by the weather when he ventured out of his home to his job only a few blocks away. He couldn't help but curse his terrible luck.
The brunette sighed loudly, running a freckled hand through his hair, musing up the semi-wet strands (that were beginning to freeze) in his efforts to cease the negative train of thoughts. He really needed to work on that.
Either way, he shoved his chilled hands into the pockets of his vest, warming the, prickling with cold, flesh. Idly, he kicked at an empty can that was on the sidewalk, making the it clatter across the pavement. At least he'd make it to the shop in time to avoid that incoming cloud of pure doom.
Speaking of shops- he could see Dragon's Fuel and Care just up ahead. Honestly, it was the stupidest name for a gas station and repair shop he ever heard of- but that seemed to be a plus around here. The more odd the name, the more memorable it was. That was probably why people in this town never had the same name as anyone else. Everyone was literally an individual (at least by first name basis, if that made any sense). Of course, people got named after previous descendants, but it was some kind of unspoken rule that only when they were deceased were they allowed to take on that name. Odd tradition, to be honest...
It was to be expected from a tight-knit community like HH-Berk. Only five hundred residents with no hotels, and one of Canada's and America's biggest visited border-lined towns. Naturally, the small town was made up of businesses that were family owned and well-known for simple things like cheap, but efficient car repair, fuel, bread, fresh game, wood shops, and much more. Personally, the only thing Hiccup believed the town needed more than anything at this point was a parking lot since this place seemed to be a mall seven days a week for roughly around sixteen hours a day- even if the weather was often atrocious.
He sighed heavily once more, stopping only briefly at the corner of the street, empty can forgotten, to look up at the billowing clouds, with forest green eyes.
The dark weather made the time seem much later that 6:23 in the morning. "Well, it's going to be an awfully miserable day," he decided as he watched snow fall sluggishly from the sky. One solitary snowflake landed on his nose, melting upon impact, and he was quick to raise a green and black striped sleeve to swipe away the dot of wetness. "So much for making it to the station before the weather hit...." the teen of eighteen muttered to himself, standing in place and just watching the skies open up above him...
Just. So. Tired.
(I've been pretty distracted with Animal Crossing: New Leaf as of late =w= Idk. Here's a doodle before I get back to spending my life away on it.
I don't even know what I'm thinking. *shrug* )
Blueberry?! RP VIA hiccup-the-not-so-useless [Closed]
Jack nodded slowly, assuming that he’d actually heard something not unusal before pausing and snapping his head back up to look over at the teen with wide eyes, face full of shock as he blinked a little before a smile crawled slowly up his lips, tweaking them up into a smirk as he laughed.
“now way! you’re joking right! a dragon?! how do you even keep him hidden…are you pulling my leg?” He’d heard of dragons in stories, legends and myths…even got confused about ones in the outback but never..never had he thought it would be possible for a real life dragon to exist, which was incredibly ironic now that he thought about it.
“the day you were born on huh?” he trailed off for a moment, his smile flattening somewhat as his mood dampened before he shrugged gently, his demanour changing just as quickly as a smirk flickered into life, his eyes looking the teen up and down.
“Are you sure…a viking? is that some tribe or something i haven’t heard of…you can’t be talking about the big burly guys with beards can you?” he grinned, bringing a hand to his own chin as he played put the movements of brushing one through in thought but stopped when he saw the other limping and stood quietly for a moment, looking out across the plain to where Hiccup had been pointing, looking thoughtful for a second, taking a moment to refocus his attention back on hiccup as he blinked quickly.
“me? I think the worlds my home” he clicked his tongue, giving of a light smirk as he shrugged lightly, it hadn’t really occured to need a home except the nights where things got a little tricky. Instead he just scratched his cheek and made to sit next to the other immortal, keeping in mind to make sure there was a distance.
“i’ve been up to this and that…the worlds bigger then i imagined it first was…but then I can’t really remember much other then waking up a top of a frozen over pond…i suppose winter solistice is probably close to a birthday..or christmas…but you look like you’re in a bit of pain there…do you need me to get any herbs or such?”
It was odd to be in the presence of a human again. While he didn't normally parade around in only his pants, being shirtless at the current moment was becoming increasingly uncomfortable, not to mention making him gradually more and more self conscious at his state of 'nakedness'. Slowly, he picked up his murky green tunic from where it had been set out to dry, which was conveniently on the rock he was sitting on, and slipped it back onto himself. Feeling more at ease now that he had his outer layer of 'skin' attached, Hiccup trailed his forest green eyes over to the frost spirit's direction, trying to decide of what matter to tackle first.
After some thought, he settled on going with the topic of his dragon. "Dragons have fallen under the mythological creatures category for the past few hundred years now.... the only people that can really see Toothless are the people that believe whole-heartedly in the existence of dragons. Which- is pretty rare to come by these days. After all- if you believed in something like that," he rolled his eyes, "You'd be considered crazy. Not many people want to be burned to death due to other peoples fear of catching the person's 'hallucinations'." He shrugged nonchalantly, even if it was a pretty touche subject for him. People feared the unknown- that, more than anything, bugged him.
"Back when I was required to breathe air, Vikings everywhere were slaughtering dragons. They didn't exactly know better because they were in 'survival mode', but at the same time no one really stopped to consider that the dragons were in the same boat... I kind of helped my village come to that conclusion after nearly dying several times in various gruesome ways. I guess one thing to remember about Vikings is that we have stubbornness issues. We want to show we're right, or well, die trying. After I left, the dragons followed me and things just kind of... well died down. Dragons became a legend... I became a legend."
He panted slightly from talking for so long; while he spoke to Toothless, he didn't nearly do this much in one sitting. He was surprised at how exhausting it seemed to be.
"Vikings aren't exactly known for their beards- though many did have them... They're were known for overseas expeditions..." He shook his head, not wanting to get too much into detail so soon.
"All of that aside, what would you want your Spirit Day to be...? Since you can't seem to remember yours..."
Don't mind me randomly doing sketch dumps for fanfics I've read- haha...
Anyway, I basically only read Fanfictions that are over 50k- And Just Two Strangers in a Crowd fell into that category- sooooo I just doodled random snippets from it that amused me greatly (or were really sad to me)- I mean, there's more of course, but yeah. Most of the doodles are things that just stood out to me that I remembered off the top of my head. I wanted to draw a bunch of Bunny but like- he's hard to draw XD?
But yeah, I've been trying to get out of this "I hate drawing" funk I've been in, so I used this fanfiction to try to coax back my love of drawing.
I don't even know. I'm sorry.
Hiccup: Jack, I'm allergic to strawberries.

My Hiccup was turned into a dragon by an M!A and so his accidental husband Jack sticks around with him. This is during and after the whole M!A events.
Another way to view this if the click-through is being a butt (X)
