scarlett-singh:
Scarlett stopped for a moment to look at the other woman and give her idea some thought. ”Well–” Before she could reply, their dilemma was solved, thanks to modern technology. The corners of her lips only lifted in a slight smile. “Someone seems to think so, yes,” she said in surrender, shaking her head. “Where is this world going. –What I liked about Vegas were its endless possibilities. Opportunities. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for bars, but also give me some art to look at and try to figure it out. I suppose an art cafe would be nice as well, solve all of my problems.”
“Right? I mean, bars are great when you’re in the mood for them. But I, for one, can’t really fully relax in a bar setting as opposed to a coffee shop or art gallery, you know?” Liv commented with a smile and a quick shrug. “Is there an art cafe around? I’m sure there is but I...don’t think I’ve seen any. Or rather, I may not have paid attention to my surroundings.” Which would probably be the case, given how focused she was most of the time on getting from point A to point B quickly.
