It's very, very difficult to fight against things that used to be so common in my day-to-day life. I used to read novels with erotica in the theme (but not as the main plot), I didn't see the big deal, it was just about romance. And then suddenly I saw how much it consumed my time, and drove me away from God, through the things I absorbed. In short, I read when I was bored, sad, before bed... And it's very difficult when I find myself bored or anxious or annoyed for the slightest reason, to simply not download the stories to read. It still feels like I'm missing something.

Hi, dear ones! I'm a little better, thank you to everyone who prayed for me. Now I have to confess that the anxiety hasn't gone away, I can feel my blood boiling and my heart beating fast all the time. I can't get my mind off worries over which I have no control. I do know, though, that God is in control of everything.

I'm also fighting loneliness and boredom, which are serious enemies if you want to get rid of bad habits and keep your mind on God. I'm asking the Lord to keep me steady, I'm seeking healthy entertainment, but it's just too complicated. But I have faith that I will get through it all, safe in the mercy and grace of Christ.

The people who use the religion of Christ as a basis for whipping others with words have certainly not read and meditated on this verse. May we all have wisdom, including before speaking about ourselves.

Acknowledging God's faithfulness to me when I haven't even made an effort to be faithful to Him is rather embarrassing. God in His excellence continues to be faithful to me, someone He doesn't need for anything. Wonderful and mysterious is the undeserved grace.

I don't know who needs to hear this but listen, just because I consider myself a christian doesn't mean that i'm better and completely 'good and holy' and that my life is perfect. of course not. I'm still a human being after all. I still struggle with temptations, I still struggle with basic problems just like the rest of other people. I have emotions as well, I'm trying to be better and control my temper. my beliefs might be different from yours and that's fine. I respect you, and I am not gonna jugde you. Just keep in mind that i am a human, a human who makes mistakes, a human who's not always right. i have emotions too, and I also face struggles. just cause i follow and believe in Jesus Christ doesn't mean 'I'm completely holy and perfect '. I have flaws as well.

Hello, my beloved!

Don't give up hoping in the Lord. Don't give up believing that God can change scenarios, that He can do the impossible, that He can get us out of situations that we think are hopeless. God is merciful and knows what we need, but He expects us to pray and speak out too. Pray! Pray with faith and wisdom, know how to wait.

I wish I had known how to wait, without the fear and certainly without half the things I tried to feel when I was full of hopelessness.

God knows the right time and He is not late. Ask for wisdom to deal with the wait and rest in the Lord's mercies.

Hi ! I was going through your blog, your most recent post about not feeling like God loves you and taking refuge into sin really resonated with me ! I just want to encourage you in saying you’re are not alone in that.

But I know how hard it can be to do this walk alone. We definitely need other people to help keep us on the straight and narrow. Lastly I just want to leave you with Matthew 12:48-50! You are my sister in christ, and I am here !

Thank you so much for this message. It breaks my heart that you have to face this same difficulty, but it also makes me glad to know that we are not alone. It comforts me to know that we recognize the harshness of the journey, but with all the struggle we choose to persevere. Feel free to talk to me whenever you want and need to. I'm here for you too!

Thank you to everyone who interacts with me. I feel welcomed and I know that we are somehow in the same boat because we all share the understanding of receiving an undeserved grace. Trust in God, trust that He can put the right people in your life even if they live hours away, on another continent perhaps. God knows what you need to stand firm.

Dearly beloved. May the peace of Christ be with everyone.

Once again I felt discouraged. For some time I had been feeling forgotten and unloved by God. This led me into sin, because as well as feeling extremely alone, I felt from the bottom of my heart that He didn't care about me. This feeling of not being loved or even seen by God fed the lie that it didn't matter if I chose to stop sinning or seek forgiveness, because He didn't care anymore. And feeling this way hurt me and made me feel alone and empty, and I sought refuge in sin. I lived like that for months and tried to fix myself. In 1 John it says that if we confess our sins, God is just and faithful to forgive us. Today I know I'm repentant, but I'm also afraid, because it may not be genuine repentance.

What I do know is that God loves me. But I was so desperate to feel something immediately that I didn't respect God's silence, I wanted signs as clear as daylight, I wanted solutions that shouted out his presence. But all I had was silence and the question that sickened my soul: "Does he love me and want me?", as well as the answer: "After everything I've done, He doesn't listen to me anymore.". What I also know is that God cares. For many reasons I'm hurt, but mainly for everything I've done to myself, for the things I've wanted and for having made sin my companion while I felt bad about myself.

Hold on to the identity that Christ has given you, as servants and His children, as people who are loved and seen. Pray strongly so that the lies thrown at your soul will be fought with faith in the One who saves us. Don't be deceived by sin. Don't seek out immediate, worldly sensations in an attempt to replace God's love. Believe in the forgiveness you have received. If you're lost, ask for help so that you can find The way again. Above all, love God and confess how you really feel about everything. God hears you even if it doesn't seem like it.

Hi guys! Hope you all are having a wonderful day. It's morning for me, so I'm sipping coffee and since my Uni has a delay problem (and hopefully — with God's help and grace — I'll change my course), I'm starting to read a novel book.

I know that this post will go unnoticed, I know that maybe no one will interact since it's so trivial (and that's fine), but I'm trying to see if sharing the small things makes me look at them with more gratitude.

Also, as I think about and prepare posts for here, I'm turning my attention away from things that lead me to sin.

My biggest difficulty today is waiting for God's time.

What do we do while we wait?

I study, because that was always the plan, in order for me to be able to move to another country. But what do I do when what I'm already doing doesn't satisfy me? I was blessed with a scholarship to study online at a university outside of my country, learning a language that is not my native one.

I dedicate myself and nothing happens. I do everything right before God and nothing happens. I do everything wrong and then I feel guilty, and say to myself "things don't happen because you did this and that".

I'm not putting God to the test, because He's not obliged to give me anything. But I trust that He opens and closes doors, that He moves people and things. I trust that the God who opened the sea is my God. So it's just very hard and painful to persevere when things don't happen.

Things got difficult again. I don't come here much to talk about the good things perhaps because my great problem and sin is that I don't notice the good things no matter how little they are. I am always looking for a meaning for everything.

I haven't attended to any church since the end of 2022, for personal reasons. Meaning that I don't have christian friends who can help me in my struggles by following biblical guidance or just giving me comfort words that also soothe my spiritual life. When I fall into sin, or frustration and anxiety, or fear and sadness, and whatever else affects me, I deal with it all on my own (and I know that my way of dealing is not good as someone that wants to be with God). But sometimes it gets suffocating and quite tiring to look around and see no one. Or to see that the people who will stand by me (childhood friends, online friends of years) will also introduce some immediate (and not at all effective) ways for me to solve at least one of my problems.

For me, immediate resolutions usually involve lust and attention. Either the possibility of sex, curiosity and validation.

The message I have for you today is: make friends who bring you closer to God. My friends guide me in what they do and like, and it's not their fault because they don't know God. It's my fault for submitting, for accepting short solutions to long problems. But I keep thinking that if I had friends with the same goals as me, maybe I'd have a different kind of help.
