Based off a doodle I did on receipt paper several weeks ago (in this post here) and a growing number of ideas for a baby AU for this pairing.

Scenario (read left to right, top to bottom):

Hide buys (a very pregnant) Kaneki a coffeesicle and is so smitten by how adorable he looks while eating it that he has to get a picture. Unfortunately, it didn’t come out well…but it still impacted Hide’s heart.

However!

Down below is what it would’ve looked like had Hide not been bumped by a passerby, or Kaneki whirling around so quickly, or whatever you choose to believe made the photo blurry.
