Once a casual veteran defense attorney and now related to the most powerful of messiahs and reincarnations of important figures through his family connections, the life of Phoenix Wright endures an extreme change as he makes a temporary move to Japan to expand his work experience overseas… Unknowingly venturing deep into the demonic along with his younger subordinates and daughter.
The three lawyers and the young magician encounter horrifying sights together caused by the ongoing wars between the devils and the angels, forming new friendships with people who are well versed with fighting against the supernatural and even meeting those they once cared for a long time ago, their paths being crossed together to the point they waltz on the road of love. It is then that their journeys in the small town of Inaba and the big cities of Iwatodai and Tokyo cause them to realize the bloodlines they’ve become connected to, and just what kind of future they’ve created for themselves.
Men like the aged and well experienced Kazuya Aoyama (reincarnation of Adam), the legendary Raidou Kuzunoha and the mighty Demi-fiend have formed bloodlines of their own, ones that are spread out and bear the strongest of surprises to them… Ones, that will lead to their fellow relatives to be cursed by God and Lucifer as chess pieces in their beloved war, them and the very people they consider to be their loved ones being forced to battle for the sake of their lives and the families they’ve sworn to protect. Those that bear the blood of Adam, the King of Chaos or the Taisho Hopebringer of Light are destined to meet their forefathers, and be driven into peril with them until they can only beg to be released from their crusades, or fight to make that happen.
With the faithful meeting between the chosen messiahs and the famed lawyers occurring, they both venture down a path that will not only lead them to battles within the courtroom, but also ones that will require their blood to be shed and spilt many a-times. They are fated to forever use their brawns and brains, in order to overcome all the onslaught God has to throw at them.
