“Good morrow, gentleman.” Festé replied, looking up from his banjo, the strings of which he had been idly plucking at. Upon spying him, he had offered the young gentleman a tip of his hat. Though gentleman he swore he was, there was something extremely curious about this youth and Festé had been intrigued by him ever since his impromptu arrival in Illyria.

“Oh, I wouldn’t know, sir.” He said in response to the Cesario’s query regarding his mistress, returning his attention idly back to his instrument. “You see, I have been absent these past few days and have only just made my return. Although…if the matter be urgent, I could be persuaded to go check on the lady-” A grin now crossed his features. “Give or take a penny?”

     festé is one of the extremely few people on the island of illyria that viola believed could catch her out.     orsino,  though she loved him dearly,  was far too oblivious and lovelorn to catch on   --   olivia,  too wrapped up in her feelings for the imaginary  cesario  ,  and so on and so forth.     which,  although their lack of sight was a   blessing   ,  could be highly    FRUSTRATING    (  although  festé  ,  on the other hand,  could be very   dangerous   )  .      a  sigh  comes from the  boy  ,  before she begins to dig in her pocket for a penny.     after a moment,  however,  she   winces   .     of course,  she could never be quite that lucky,  could she ??          “ unfortunately,  my good fool,  i lack a penny on my person with which to persuade. ”
