Honestly, he didn’t really want to hand Stripe (2.0) over. It felt ridiculously like separating from a part of himself. (Even though Takao is technically a friend.)
Well. Eyeing Takao, he carefully held Stripe out. Might as well get it over with. Besides, he could just─keep an eye on them.
Takao gingerly took the guinea pig into his hands, stroking the top of his little head with his thumb. The furry friend was both soft and warm, making Takao unwilling to let go of him so soon— but he was here with a purpose, and thus, into the ball Stripe went.
Placing the cover back on, Takao smiled, satisfied with the result. It'd been a pain to go out of his way to purchase it, admittedly, but the ball was turning out to be a great little present for Stripe, who probably didn't move around too much, even in Craig's room.
"Y'know," he started, watching the ball wiggle back and forth. "While I was looking around online, I saw this site that sold like. Costumes. Little guinea pig ones."
