HEY EVERYONE!! i’ve talked about having a Patreon before, but now i am going to do it again. I HAVE A PATREON!! you can find it here.

previously, i was exclusively posting sketches to Patreon as opposed to sharing them publicly, but that stinks of economics-based social hierarchy and capitalism, so i don’t want to do that anymore. that said, my Patreon exists on a donation basis. although i may occasionally post patreon-only sketches and work previews, i still want to post as much as i can publicly for everybody to see.

i use monthly pledges to pay my rent and bills and buy art supplies. and here is the super important part– i started a Patreon goal of $150 a month so i can afford quit one of my workshifts. this is a big deal because, well… ok, lemme play it straight, this shift makes my life fucking miserable. i generally enjoy my job, but once a week i am thrown into genuine despair over having to work this shift. discussions with my supervisor about this have not been great, so i’m at the point where i am (desperately) willing to drop the shift entirely.

if i can reach my Patreon goal, i can drop the shift and have an entire EXTRA DAY to work on projects, make art, write my book, etc. this would be incredibly helpful considering one of my current days off is often spent doing errands or laying in bed. also if we meet this goal hopefully i will stop wishing i was dead on a semi-weekly basis.

that $150 sounds like a big number, but even a pledge of $1 helps me out a lot. little pledges add up and they’re all extremely helpful, and i am incredibly grateful for your support.

i make these mini-zines called FRESH every few months, but i plan to consistently put out issues on a monthly basis from here on out. i used to sell these in limited runs at conventions, but they aren’t worth the cost… HOWEVER! folx who pledge a bit more on patreon will receive a new issue of FRESH every month. i just realized this is basically a zine subscription. HAHA! cool.

sometimes i make additional mini-zines along the lines of “A is for AGENDER” or “I DON’T KNOW SHIT ABOUT SMOKING”. the zine subscription includes those, too.
