YOU WERE MY BROTHER, ANAKIN
Hot take but… some fiction is just better without romance in it and y'all don’t need to rabidly search for romantic undertones where there are none
Fandoms be like "canon is worthless and we're going to tear it apart" and then treat their unsubstantiated headcanons as irrefutable canon that cannot be touched
Greek Mythology thoughts and fandom opinion
First, I want to share my thoughts about this mythology because always liked greek mythology but last year my love for this mythology growed more (a bit thanks to Destripando la Historia, a spanish Youtube channel of animations).
One of my favourite things is the fact that the gods have virtues but also have flaws and they are neither good or evil (they weren´t concieved to be like this or that). Sometimes, I think this two facts are what people don´t get but I also think greek mythology isn´t for everyone (at least, nowadays, because have some problematic things like blatant misogyny). I have parts of the greek mythology that I don´t like. I already mentioned the misogyny o that have a lot of toxic couples with rape or crazy jealousy/possessive love. I think the only couples I like is Apollo x Hyacinthus and Orpheus x Eurydice.
My favourite goddess will always be Athena. She is smart, a great estrategist, brave and often wise but she has flaws like a vengative and prideful side. I don´t care if she has haters or don´t like her but people, please don´t wish her to be raped for the incident of Medusa. The second will be Demeter, a brave and strong mother. For the male gods, my favourites are the complex god Apollo and the funny god Hermes.
Second, I don´t want to offend someone but I have to comment that I don´t like the fandom of this mythology. I know sometimes fandoms have toxic fans but is unbearable to me. Not only the toxicity, the aggressiveness of defending his/her favourite god. Also, the fact that is plagued of hypocrites who attack some gods because they did problematic things but they like other gods that also make problematic things (like Hermes) or try to demonized the others gods to make their favourite god better. Also, you know the experience of having a total indifference for one character but they try to shove you in your throat claiming that is superior and demonizing all other characters and ended disliked this character a lot? Because that happened to me with Hades and Ares.
I also hate when fans pull the feminism card to tell you who god you should hate or like more and even begins to compare rapes (how can anyone compare rapes? any rape is awful) to try to justify. Also, always attack certain gods (like Zeus, Hera or Athena) but “forget” or they even try to downplay the misogyny of the other gods (like Hermes raped two nymphs and almost everyone likes him, Hades is also a rapist, Artemis treated horribly Callisto and caused the rape of Aura and she even mocked the poor raped woman twice).
This is my opinion and sorry for my grammar, English isn´t my native language :).
Robb and Sansa Stark parallels. (insp.)
Game Of Thrones & The Political Lessons It Taught Us
I know it’s hard to believe but writers/directors of TV shows and movies are not responsible for your mental well-being. Sorry your fave didn’t make it or your ship didn’t sail or whatever but TV show/movies are meant to be entertainment and the people that create them do so to entertain you not treat what ails you. If you feel like you need therapy then get a therapist and stop expecting entertainers to cater to your emotional wants and needs.

Bullying and harassing actors because of fictional stuff is stupid
Game of Thrones is not a documentary. If you can’t distinguish between fiction and reality, seek professional help.
GOT ending
I loved got ending, truly bittersweet :
- The Stark family are the winners of this series but each one goes to their own way
- My beloved Bran is the King of the Six Kingdoms ( I want to know what the people/survivors of King’s Landing is thinking or reacts to him) and Tyrion is his hand
- Sansa is the Queen in the North and a happy single woman
- Arya is a explorer and isn’t forced to marry Gendry
- Jon doesn’t become king and goes to lives with the wildlings
- Sam becomes a Maester and is in the King’s Council along with Davos
- The Iron Throne is destroyed and Daenerys is the GOT version of Gollum
- No more forced pairings like Jonerys o characters have to marry for fanservice reasons
My only complains is the easy death of Daenerys, Bronn and prince of Dorne is some unnamed guy
The last Starks: then and now.
“ You don’t have to choose. You’re a Greyjoy and you’re a Stark.” What is dead may never die.
