MASTERLIST
Hi! This is an incomplete masterlist trying to compile every single mob psycho omake because good lord some of these things are hard to find. Like, "end up skimming through several chapters because you vaguely remembered it being in World Domination Arc" hard to find. All of these will either be posted or reblogged here just in case the original poster happens to delete because that seems to happen a lot. They will be linked with their names and a brief description. All omakes will also be tagged with the characters present (Body Improvement Club omakes will be shortened to "body improvement club" instead of every individual character) for quicker searching.

Here’s the rest of the sketch dump — I have a few unfinished wips for bigger pieces sitting around but I don’t know when I’ll get to finishing them SO here’s some of my musings in the mean time!
OOPS! Last one, meant to share it with the set but C’est la vie!
Hi. I like doing mob psycho fan comics and pretend they're omakes

sequel to this comic I did before w/ Serizawa and Tome bc i could not stop thinking about how Reigen would also end up thinking he's possessed before considering he's pregnant

On Reigen - How He Breaks the Fourth Wall
Reigen is one of the most interesting characters I’ve seen in media, partially because of the unique way that ONE has written him, both in his character and his narrative purpose. Reigen is a myriad of things: a dozen contradictions bundled into a single ragged suit, a character of many qualities that can act as a brilliant role model as well as a warning, and, what I will focus this essay on, the outside world looking in.
When I first watched MP100, I wasn’t super impressed, because it seemed to have the same rules–the same shonen cliches–that every fighting anime had. I have powers, I’m gonna beat you up because I have powers. If you threaten me, I will have no moral qualms with beating you up. Morality is dead in this world. We are living in a barbaric Viking honor culture, and only violence is the answer. Fight me.
But then I saw Reigen, and I felt a pull of reality. And it wasn’t just with morals. He has this air of wisdom, this incredible mastery, on not only his own world, but our world, and the unspoken rules that it follows. When those two business people attempted to scam Mob over the broken pot, Reigen beats them at their own game because he knows the game better. “Oh, you want to scam a kid out of their money, and will take legal actions to do it? Okay. I’ll show you legal action. Let me show you the art of lawsuits.” And as someone who as worked with a corporation, everything that Reigen listed can be used as a lawsuit, except for the uh… smelly breath. But assault (grabbing him by the suit), emotional damages (yelling at him), destruction of property (wrinkling his suit) can all plausibly be used, and they all know this, because they’re adults who live in the adult world. The kids still seem to live in this shonen world, this idea that they can and should fight each other with their powers, whereas everyone else who doesn’t have powers, or are just adults for that matter, has to deal with honest issues that we all face in our own lives, like taxes and lawsuits and existential crises.
But where Reigen shines is his morals, and his emphasis on the unspoken rule: You should never, as an adult, fight a child.
At that moment, Reigen broke the fourth wall for me, and suddenly became the guy sitting next to me, outside of the screen, scowling at the same show that I was watching. Because in the real world, you’ll become an object of scorn. An adult should never attack a child, not simply because it’s wrong, but because it’s pathetic to do so. You, a grown ass adult, who’s bigger, stronger, and (usually) wiser, are going to fight someone who’s smaller than you? Are you really so cowardly to already seek out an unfair advantage in a fight? Are you seriously so insecure, so scared, so pathetic, that you cannot fight someone your own age? You’d be ridiculed to the point of nonexistence. And there, at that moment, I felt like Reigen was never raised in the shonen world, but our world. The shonen world is filled with cultural differences that are so entirely separated from our own. In the shonen world, as long as you have powers, you should be fought. You bring this and this pain upon you. Morals have changed because abilities have changed, and really, you should expect it.
Reigen felt like he was born in my world. What, you have powers? Okay, fucking weird, but okay. What, you’re going to fight a child because they have powers? What in the goddamn hell is wrong with you? You’re going to take over the world? Are you three? Grow up.
So when he says, “Guys, that’s illegal,” to the group of Claw members, he says it as one adult to another. It’s this firm reminder, almost spoken in disbelief, that they should know. You guys are goddamn adults. You should have grown out of this fantasy ages ago.
I love that about Reigen, because I have never seen it done before. And he really feels like a touch of reality that I never knew I was craving for until now.
