*THIS BLOG IS ON HIATUS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE*
I will be back one day though...one day.
Alight everyone. Iâve made my decision.Â
Iâm on a reply hiatus until Saturday, as in I wonât be doing any replies whatsoever. I finish school on Friday, so I should be able to get myself relaxed then. Sorry to everyone, I really am. Iâm just a horrible replyer.Â
"Oh.. another one of me? sometimes I wonder if Iâm just dreaming or delusional at this very moment.." The nurse had whispered those exact words to themselves as they looked towards the other Mikan Tsumiki. "I do not think that I am need of an appointment my darling nurse, because afterall. I am you, but at the same time.. I am not you, as the both of us might contain a few differences in ourselves, aside from being a medic." She noticed the unkempt desk right in front of her eyesight and asked. "Do you need help cleaning up your workstation?"
At the sound of a familiar voice, Mikan looked up. She was clearly surprised to see another version of herself, and one that didn't even stutter at all. Perhaps this was...a universe clash or something silly like that? Well, then again it wasn't so silly when it was right in front of her. "A-Ah, no...You don't n-need to help me, these are all m-my work notes." She smiled, trying to reassure her older self. Apparently she had grown out of the stutter she had had since she was a child. That or this Mikan was just stuttering out of nervousness.Â
"Iâm feeling better, thank you Tsukimi-san. So, how are you?"
"W-Well, I've been working here with D-Doctor Itami for quite a w-while...So, I've been doing q-quite well." She smiled. "What about y-you, Nagito-San?"
"There are other w-ways?" Fukawaâs words slurred somewhat with relief, "LikeâŠn-nothing that involves needles, right? O-Or any sort of getting into m-my skin?"
"N-No...I could t-try giving it to you i-in pill form...I don't know h-how effective it will be though..." Mikan explained, tapping at her chin in thought. "Will that be better for you?" She asked, her love of giving shots calming down for this patient in particular.Â
The brunette had been sitting in on her sofa, feeling this uneasy feeling between her legs. She knew exactly what it was, but she refused to take care of it herself. Looking up at the clock she wondered when the hell the nurse would arrive so this problem of hers could be fixed. 'damn itâŠit's already an hour lateâŠ.shit what if somethin' happened to her and here I am bein' a fuckin' horny fuckerâŠ.'she started to worry until she heard the front door open. ( hilaremmedicus )
Mikan rushed through the door and closed it behind her, stumbling into the living room and looking to Akane." S-Sorry Akane-San!" She apologized, biting her lip. "W-Work was a l-little hectic today, and D-Doctor Itami couldn't l-let me go until we were done..." She explained, having been worried the entire time she was working. "Y-You never explained what e-exactly was wrong, so I though s-something bad m-might have happened...w-what's wrong?" Mikan asked, looking Akane over to see if she had injured herself again.Â
Komaeda popped the pills and swallowed them.
âDo I need to drink any water or anything like that?â
Mikan nodded and passed a glass of water to Komaeda and looked around a little more, checking if there was anything she could help him with.
"I-I canât take it at all!â Fukawa bellowed, her scrawny chest heaving. âWhat if b-blood comes out?! I-I, oh, no, thatâd b-beâ No!â She sputtered uncontrollably.
"P-Please miss, try to calm down...I w-won't give you the shot if you're really that worried about it...We'll just have to f-find some other way of g-giving it to you..." She replied.Â
"No. No. No. No." Fukawa repeated, refusing to move. Her fingers grew white as she tightly clung to the doorway. "Blood, I c-canât take blood, I canât stand itâ I c-canât! I canât!â
"W-Well...we can just wait until another day to give you the shot." Mikan spoke, slowly stepping back toward the other woman. "J-Just please, try to c-calm down...you could h-have a panic attack."Â
â [ â ] Convincing the female that she was capable of walking seemed pointless. She was dead set on helping her in anyway, despite that Mukuro had walked all the way from her gym class to the infirmary. Regardless as she was soon laid down, she noticed that the injury began to throb more, the mercenary managing to hold back a small wince. She just wanted to get patched up and go on her way.Â
ââŠLetâs just assume that some very idiotic people were horsing around too much in gym. Today just so happened to be the day we began our archery lesson. I can only infer that someone was not watching their movements and accidentally shot their arrow at me, where it became lodged in my side. The pain has mostly subsided now, feeling a little numb I knew I wouldnât be able to make it here with the weapon still pierced through me, so I pulled it outâŠAnd here I am.â
Mikan was in panic mode, like Mukuro was about to die right then and there on the bed. She listened to the story as she frantically searched around the room. She gathered up a few patches, bandages and a few painkillers and rags. "I-I see...I-I'm t-terribly sorry this happened to you, m-miss." Mikan spoke, slowly helping to remove Mukuro's shirt in order to get to the injured area easier. "S-Sorry about this..." She would have let Mukuro do it herself, but she was in a rush. Gently pressing the rag to one of the bleeding areas, she brought the patch over and stuck it over the area to stop bleeding, before moving to wrap the bandage over her stomach and hips.
Mikan handed the bottle of painkillers to the other female. "J-Just take two of those, p-please..." She spoke, getting up and looking her over. It seems that though that would have done it, but she wasn't completely certain yet.
Her teeth clenched slightly at the contact of the bandage. âOnly a little..â she said through her teeth. âDo you have an idea of how long it will take to heal?â
"W-Would you like some p-painkillers?" She asked, slowly continuing to wrap the bandage around her shoulder. "Hm...I think i-it could be...two to th-three weeks..."Â
"Ah, of course," Komaeda said, "Thank You."
Mikan stepped into the office and began to rummage through the medicine cabinet before handing a bottle of pills to him. "H-Here...take two of these and w-wait a few minutes." She smiled.Â
"I didnât ask for an appointment yet but Iâve been having this weird headache though."
"A-Ah, Nagito-San..." She greeted, looking him over and hearing of his headache. "W-Well, if you could follow me into the back office, I could give you some pills to see if that could help?"
Mioda looked over at the girl working at the clinic. As the other peered down at her messy table, the musician did the same, getting on her tiptoes and leaning forward to see what she could see.Â
"Ibuki doesnât think she has an appointment, although if you want to give me a check out, go riiiiiiight ahead! Ibukiâs not going to be one to stand in the way of someone else admiring me."
At the realization of who it was, a grin appeared on her face. "I-Ibuki-San~" She greeted, giving a nod of her head. "I-I only need to look you over if you need to be looked over, you know." She giggled, standing up and giving a gentle bow of her head. "W-What have you done this time?"Â
â [ â ] Calm, cool, collective eyes swooped over the nurse. She knew her very well. It was rather sad, really. However she could say nothing, seeing how they were both in the same place. Both of them were pushed around by Junko. However, Tsumiki was just shown in public, while Mukuro was shown behind the scenes. Holding her side, she walked over to the desk with a straight posture, almost as if nothing was wrong despite the crimson liquid that had bled through her white gym shirt, along with small streams running down the start of her thigh. There was not a single hint of pain on her face. Instead she kept her poker face, hand covering the injury.
ââŠI apologize for disturbing you, but I have been in a small accident. If you could patch me up, I would be on my way. Or if you give me the proper supplies, I can do it myself.â
The nurse scribbled down a few things on a piece of paper as Mukuro spoke, having not looked up to see her just yet. From the sound of her voice, she assumed it may have been a cut or something bleeding in a way. However, as her eyes wandered up to the female before her she almost fainted from surprise. Blood was...well, everywhere! "O-Oh dear! A-Are you able to w-walk!?" She asked worridly, standing up quickly and wrapping a weak and skinny arm around Mukuro as some sort of help; even if she didn't need it.
She moved to the back office with Mukuro, laying her down on the bed and taking a look over her. "W-What kind of accident was it?" For someone so meek, she was very forceful when it came to helping people.
"Understood." She began to take off her shirt, knowing that this was a professional procedure. It was a little awkward knowing that Tsumiki was her classmate, but she was her nurse as well, so she might as well treat the situation like that. The shirt came off and Pekoâs injury was more visible.
Mikan watched Peko slip off her shirt, giving a small nod and turning around to fetch the bandages. Once the swordswoman's shirt was completely removed, the sprained area was much eaiser to see, helping Mikan to know where to help. "I s-see...D-Does it hurt?" She asked, beginning to gently wrap a bandage around the hurt area.Â
