A woman was denied pants or tampons after being arrested for not completing a diversion course that was part of her sentencing from a shoplifting charge. But see how the judge reacts when she finds out that the prisoner’s humiliating treatment is apparently routine.

This is why it’s so important to vote for your local judges after doing a minimal amount of research. Most people just pick whatever judge is there or has a funny name, but this woman is changing the way prisoners are treated and she was voted in by the county. Always do your research before voting for judges, but don’t discount it as unomportant. You may need someone like her on your side one day.

I don’t usually post things like this on my blog but I thought it’d be important for people to know that:
Satanists DO NOT worship Satan. “Satan” is the latin root for “the one whom opposes”. The name was purposlly chosen to piss off Christians. Satanists are opposed to everything religious, which means that they do not believe in God, therefore, they do not believe in Satan either. The misconceptions of Satanism come from the movies where you see people sacrificing goats and all that stuff, but it is not true. I have read the Satanic Bible. I can assure you that they do not believe in anything religious.
Throwing this back up here because I’m thinking about leading with it at the family reunion.

This is my friend TJ, wearing a costume she made for Halloween, 1977. She was 16 at the time. Now, keep in mind: there was no internet to search for images. She could not have rented and paused the movie, because it wasn’t released on video until 1982. No, TJ just went to the movie a bunch of times, took notes with a flashlight, drew a bunch of sketches, and put this together. In 19-fucking-77. Anyway! This is my drawing of the plaidypus from the Gravity Falls journal 3 book! This took me about a week to finish and it was very fun and therapeutic so work on. I could never find a use for my sap green markers before, but with this piece I finally did!💚
So have you seen Gravity Falls, if you have, what’s your favorite creature or character from the show? The Lilli-putt-ians are one of my favorites (besides the lil’ plaidypus buddy), and I love all the characters, so it’s hard to pick just one that stands out from the rest of ‘em!

My grandparent’s 60th anniversary was yesterday and my mom was talking about how amazing that was and I was like “you wear glasses because Poppy was beating Nana with a belt and it whipped too far back and hit you in the eye. 60 years based off abuse isn’t celebration worthy to me.” She was not happy with that response and felt the need to point out that I’m 31 and not married so what would I know? Safety, self-respect, security and valuing my ability to be single is what I know.
