━⊱ luke watched spencer gloat from the sheets, pure laziness on parade. they couldn’t be more different — spencer wallowed in naps and bar tabs, while luke craved for local activities and fresh air. ❝ why did you even come on vacation? what’s the fun in that dull routine? ❞ he asked, voice low, a thin edge to it. spencer didn’t budge.

luke let out a slow sigh. pushing was pointless. ❝ nothing for today then. hope the nap of yours is worth it. ❞ he said, annoyance creeping in, sharp under the calm. he rose from the bed, tugged his shirt off slowly. grabbed fresh clothes from the small cabinet — folded, ready. He was off to the bathroom, to take a deep breath. relax.

inside, he slid his shorts down, turning the water on — hot — letting the steam build. the air thickened, warmth curling around him, loosening the last traces of tension.

a few moments passed after luke left the room and went away to the bathroom before Spencer thought about doing anything. A devilish grin on his face as he got out of bed, bits swinging freely and carelessly between his legs.

"What's with the attitude, though?" he asked, making his way into the bathroom forgoing any respect for privacy and space, because he was just like that and didn't really care, as he opened the door and found himself facing a body just naked as his own. "You're acting mighty pissed about me just wanting to stay in."

"I've napped three whole afternoons and enjoyed cocktails at the bar, I'm taking full advantage of my vacation, Luke. Pleasure and leisure!" Spencer held a proud grin on his face, laziness was an art form he'd become quite the expert in. "Hey, I see the world outside the room, there's huge windows all around the resort." a snort followed his own words and he slowly began to sit up, the sheets rolling off his bare chest and revealing his upper-half. "Matter of fact, I'm probably gonna hit up the pool on the rooftop later so I'll see plenty more of the world around."

This had been his entire leitmotiv through this vacation and he was not going to change his mind, he'd rather stay in bed all day long if he could. "There's much better ways to clear your mind, too. I heard that if you tip them well, the masseuse give you a happy ending."
