Finally, the historical Hetalia post I always promised you!

One of my favorite stories from history class was the story of how Britain was fed up with all the foreign stuff on their market and started marking foreign stuff. “Made in Germany” was meant to discourage people from buying the goods marked with it, but quickly the trademark was associated with good quality and got very popular. So that plan backfired a little.
