I’m not sure how many watchers I still have out there or what but I’m logging into all my old accounts on things to try and tell you where you can find me on the internets if you’re still interested in anything to do with me?!!??? 

Also I’m here posting this because I am opening up COMMISSIONS pretty soon for the first time in like years and I figured there may be some people out there who cared. MAYBE.

I am willing to draw anything INCLUDING Aywas stuff!

Sorry for not posting or doing really anything online lately my aywas friends.

here is a painting I made for valentines day :D first time watercoloring like. ever. since I was little. It was really fun, I think I’ll watercolor more!!

Ineffective “guard dog”

some days I feel kind of at a loss.

I’ve been without a job for a year.. again. Between my “no job for a year” phases I only managed to be employed for 8 months.

My younger siblings both have awesome career jobs, and here I am sitting in my pajama pants with less than $200 in the bank and literally about 3 interviews total on my last 80 job applications.

I’m at a point where I know I need to suck up my pride and get a job at taco bell, but I’m a little reluctant to apply for even that cause the last time I tried to do those sorts of jobs I got rejected from them all. If even -those jobs- reject me again... I think I’ll have a legit breakdown.

Every night I pray for a breakthrough. Just one person needs to give me a chance and if they do I’ll be literally the best employee that they ever had. Like I am at a point now where it doesn’t matter what the job is, I could literally be cleaning feces 12 hours and I’d give it my ABSOLUTE ALL.

I have a ton of work experience. I have a college degree. I’m pleasant to be around.. I think?? Why is it no one even wants to interview me. Is it my references? Is it my cover letters?? I don’t think those are so bad... I don’t think companies even do things like call previous employers or references when they’re just weeding through resumes -- I was under the impression that that happened when they were down to a smaller field of candidates-- so... what is it I’m doing wrong???

People make a lot of excuses for people of my generation failing to succeed but I just... I don’t want to convince myself that I am ok by sitting here with no money and no prospects. I want to work. I really want to. And I can’t seem to find a chance.

I wish there was somewhere out there where I could get really good advice relevant to me. Or meet people who are hiring in fields relevant to me. Or get some training in new skills that could get me jobs. I tried going to some state-run programs but those are mostly for people with no work experience or police records and most of the jobs they offer are in warehouses or farm fields. I tried job fairs. I’ve applied all over and called all over.

I’m really lost and I just needed to vent. Bleh.

okay so um

i really, really want a youko design of one of my ocs, because,,, well,,, im gonna be honest here, i really am in love with their art, but idk when their comms will be open again (or if i could even afford ‘em) and i dont have a design ticket on me atm

however, i can /get/ a design ticket, but they go for like,,, what?? 80 gp?? i dont have that kinda gp on me,,,

does anyone know a good way to make some gp?? the only ways i used to do it were selling psd uses and doing commissions, but the psd sale market is kinda slow and people are like,,, boycotting my commissions?? idk

i was thinking of maybe opening a thread where people could pay me to catch monsters for them, but i dunno…

anyone think they can help me out here?

a large portion of my GP comes from selling my customs that I am not very attached to. :) But I tend to only want 100 customs at a time or less, so I purge customs kinda often heh.

Soooo for something completely unrelated to Aywas, but related to the users and whatnot, I was curious. 

We were originally going to move back to Washington, but with all the information about how geologically active the plates are there we aren’t comfortable with that anymore. 

So anywho, we are seriously considering madison wisconsin and I was just curious if any Aywasians lived around there?

I don’t live in madison anymore but I lived there for basically all of 2014 and if you dont mind cold winters it is a very nice place to live!

I know this is bad for u and dog, but I really love how your dog is just sitting there SO PROUD OF HIMSELF. Like YEAH I ATE THAT AND IT WAS TASTY AND NOW WE’RE HAVING A FUN ADVENTURE TODAY IS GREAT.

SCC basing commission from a sketch!

cleaned up the face a bit from the sketch, added antlers and a completely new tail. lines and shading are all me. I’m really happy with how this base came out, I am getting to be quite proud of my shading. 8D

I’m not sure who drew the original sketch (if you recognize the design let me know and I’ll give you credit!)

1. Pet designs must be made by hand and may not contain any copyrighted material. This means you may not use premade textures or downloaded brushes on your custom designs. The ONLY exception from the above rule is a) if you have permission to do so from the creator OR b) if the brushes/resources in question are explicitly stated to be completely free for use OR c) if the brushes/textures in question are built into the art program (for example, default Photoshop brushes).

That’s an MDT design with brushes that aren’t Photoshop defaults and that I doubt are ‘completely free for use’ because most brush makers don’t like other people making money off their hard work. The roses are identical, right down to the brush strokes. Clearly a brush or clip art they’ve rotated. The lines of the vines go over the body lines in ways that don’t make sense. When you hand draw markings, you know better than to cross lines like that. Also clearly a brush. It’s different if they’ve actually paid for the brushes or can link back to prove that they have permission/the brushes are free for use but without that, I’m angry.

I’m a brush maker. I spend hours drawing and designing brushes which I release for free for other people to enjoy for personal projects, not for them to profit off. I can’t believe this is allowed on the MDT team.
