It wasnt a long time since I became active in this foodie reviewing community though i have been a foodie since years and addicted in food hunting… It wasnt totally planned as in the morning i decided to not to walk due to a throat infection and slight cold i felt. But eventually in the evening I had two thought of attending or not for this “Zomato Foodie Meetup at The Sandwich Factory“. Somehow made up my mind in the last minute to walk in no matter what and i did…
Oreo Mint Shake
The new sandwich factory wasn’t easier to locate and wasn’t harder to find either. As they havent done their official launch yet which is due to the month of November as Hisham mentioned. Hisham is the master mind behind this American Diner concept here in Sri Lanka, in simple English he is the Owner of TSF. Also a very talkative, friendly person he is. If you are planinng to walk in just speak few words with him, you’ll definitely feel it the way i feel, without any doubt.
Simply the welcome was warm though I was few mins late and two varieties of welcome drinks were severed after i walked in. We tasted both the two varieties of drinks while listening to Hisham about his future plans and how did the concept came from. The two drinks we tried was,

Simply both are lovely, where its harder to compare. Though i wasn’t much a mint fan at all, the Oreo Mint Shake simply took my heart out of the two. I’m not saying the Orange Float was comparatively bad either, its simply my taste and perception i believe.
This new outlet contains a backyard as well, where there gonna be the indoor and outdoor dining all in one place as soon as they open. Backyard was really cool during the evening to get relaxed, with my experience yesterday I really enjoyed under a starry sky.

To be honest I don’t use beef at all. Before serving these dishes Hisham inquired is whether are we all using beef, and I raised my hand to say I don’t use beef. With one word he instructed to make all the lovely dishes with Chicken, which actually took my heart. Simply that was so nice of him.
The Chili Cheese Fries comes with French Fries, Chili con carne, melted cheese and Salsa was soo lovely. We all fell for those fries, which is simply awesome. That salsa and melted cheese was a perfect blend for me.

Believe it or not I honestly done remember all the name of what we enjoyed during the evening, as there was a bunch. I honestly decided to walk again as they open to try more as those all what I/We tried was delicious.
Taquitos was another mouth watering dish we got served and empty-ed within few minutes. Oh! I must say for most for these they have different varieties of sauces, to mix with. Also they have a Special Sauce which they have made which you can request for. It was really lovely and great which went with most we tried.
How can i forget the the Crispy Chicken Tenders (Drools). Yes, it is little bit spicy but was delicious and juicy. It actually comes along with lightly breaded juicy chicken tenderloin which is fried and served with a chili garlic sauce to dip in.

It is really worth to give a try if you are a chicken fan. I cant say about how the beef/steak meals taste like as I’m not into, but as a chicken eater and a foodie this is a recommendable dish too.

Then we started trying the wraps, and Barmy Wrap was what i fell in with. I cant remember the name of the other wrap we tried. Barmy Wrap was suppose to be with Steak, but It was tailor made from chicken and it was yummeeh! This particular wrap was wrapped with Arabic bread centered with French Fries, Fried egg, Ketchup, Mustard, Mayo and Steak in BBQ sauce which replace with chicken for me. I actually bought another one from this home as it was simply mouth watering.
Barmy Wrap
Not only the wraps, we got different different burgers as well as Melts with Traditional Paan which were superb. The buns used in burgers were really soft.
I’m definitely counting for may more than one visit due the taste-buds which aroused by dining there those American dishes. Most of their dishes comes along with fries. Trust me, those burgers are delicious and 100 times better than those Mc Donalds, Burger King burgers which are served by those so called franchised outlets.
For my personal feeling its all worth the amount you pay for, as for the taste as well as for the portion which you can witness from some of these pictures..
