A Present For The Moody Business Man Who Has Everything||Klary
"Well, I’m glad you like it, because I wouldn’t have apologized if you hadn’t." He gave quirk of his lips. "These were the hard part." He grabbed the floating orb of light, inspecting it’s surface and feeling slight heat emit from it. It was rather brilliant they managed to work out a lot of the heating and magnetic properties. He’d gotten the idea based off the Witchlight Clary always seem to carry when they were on missions.
He was so enveloped in his gadget that when he felt the sudden embrace the redhead gave him, he stiffened, thoughts reeling back to the present and blue hues locking on the top of fiery colored hair.
"You’re welcome." He muttered out, unsure about what to do. One thing was for him to fluster her and play around with her emotions or simply be cocky, another was for her to catch him off guard.
A silent sigh left his lips as he hugged her back with one of his arms, using the other to let go of the crystal orb that jutted back into the air, he looked at it and cleared his throat, “I’m bloody hungry, so can we get past the romance and onto the part where food is involved… unless your into good times with food.” Klysm smirked, back to his usual collected and cocky self. A glint of mischief in his eyes as he looked down at Clary.
"By the way, what did you get at the store?" He pried, peering over at the bags, somewhat, curiously.
Looking at the lights as they floated around the room she couldn't help but think of her witchlight if it could fly. The thought brought on another smile, he'd been inspired by her, or more so her tools. Hadn't he? Well it was never a bad time to ask questions. "Well I'd assume so, how did you do it? What inspired such creativity?" She had to fight back a giggle when she realized that she'd caught him off guard with her hug, to be honest, she'd have thought he'd be prepared for anything, after all Clary never really was one for warnings. Though when he spoke again, her cheeks turned a vibrant red color, almost the color of her hair. She broke away from him, turning so that he couldn't see her face. "Okay, yeah whatever. Food it is." He had asked for pizza and she'd delivered. To be honest she was hoping for a subject change. And when she got it, it was onto a subject she'd have rather avoided. Last thing she wanted him to figure out was his Christmas present. "None of your business. I got art supplies. That's all you need to know. i don't have to explain myself to you."She stuck out her tongue and took the bags back to her art room.
