Throughout this unit, I have learned many valuable life lessons i will use in my everyday life. But most importantly, I have learned the value of both racism and justice and the bond and connection that ties them together. Equality and justice are two instincts buried within the human's soul everyone already knows about. The fact that I need to write this article is disappointing enough and lowers my faith in humanity itself. Although we were born with this concept, somehow, we are deceived into thinking otherwise. Thinking a race is superior to another just because it is relatively well-known. Or thinking you are more important than the person next to you based on the fact that you were fortunate enough to be blessed with a "better" life. What is deceiving us? The media, your friends, peer-pressure, it doesn't matter. All that matters is the fact that we are equal. This equality leads to a much greater concept. Justice. Listening to the word, you might have already looked away from your screen. Thinking it has nothing to do with me and is just all about the law and breaking it. But its not. Its about treating everybody equally. Its about being fair in your judgement and decisions. Its about thinking person A deserves nothing less than what person B does. This is what justice is about. This is what we need to fight for. This world is trapped in a cage, suffering from the injustice and inequality, and you are the person with the power to open the lock and set them free.
