I always see a bunch of adult trio (but as kids/teenagers) fanfics, do fanfic writers not know that they're all different ages? Hisoka and Illumi weren't in high school together at all, Hisoka is four years older than him.

Kuroro and Illumi would've been, since they're two years apart. And the same with Hisoka and Kuroro.

They always just place them in high school together and never address that the timeline is wonky. I get that it's probably implied they're around the same age in that fic, but the people who switch around who's the youngest and make it Kuroro is really dumb to me.

Even in regular fics that have all three of them interacting, they ALWAYS seem to act like Kuroro is the youngest or treat him like that. Does Kuroro just give off "he's younger than them" energy or what 😭

I'm writing this for myself and so I can agree with it in five months, but I hope an adult trio fanfic writer will scroll past this and be like "oh my god, Illumi is so young compared to them!" And write their ages accordingly.

Idk why people ship them all together anyway, Illumi can't be paired with Kuroro. Hisoka can be paired with either, so maybe that's where they get it.
